Game Center is Apple's social gaming network, similar to PSN or Xbox Live. To use it, you just need to go to the Game Center app on your iDevice and sign in with an Apple ID. You could: A.) Use the same Apple ID you use for app and music purchases, or B.) Create a separate Apple ID to use just for Game Center. Some people might like to do this to keep the name associated with their purchase account separate from what people on Game Center will see, or alternatively a family might share a single Apple ID to make app and music purchases, but each person would sign in with separate Apple ID's to store their individual achievements and game progress. The choice is yours as to what you want to do, but know that once you associate a particular Apple ID in Game Center and sync game progress to it, you can not change it latter. If you create a new Apple ID from the option in the Game Center app, there will be a few extra steps related to setting up the account (e-mail, password, security questions, etc.) but the actual Game Center setup is pretty easy. Once signed in with your Apple ID, you will be asked to setup your profile. The most important thing here is to pick a Nickname that you will be known by on Game Center. This is the name that will show up on global leader boards, and it's also the main way to add friends to your friends list. Game Center will check to see if the name you want is already in use and suggest some alternatives if it's taken. I think you can change your Nickname latter without messing anything up, but I'm not entirely sure as I haven't tested this personally. That's about all there is to it. As to when you will be able to buy Sequoias, it's level 22. People are pretty nice around here and probably wouldn't mind helping out. Because of the generosity I've received, I personally wouldn't mind sending you a full set of Sequoia-M parts if you would like. Definitely try to participate in the global events since the Bux prizes can help out early on, and it's the only way some planes can be obtained in the game. Every so often they give out more than just Bux for event prizes. Usually it's a rare plane part but every now and then there is a full plane event. Just be aware that you need an active internet connection so that your job totals will be synced and updated on the server when you start to participate. Also, incase you didn't know the flight crew's full name is TouchArcade1, people just use TA1 for short.
I see leaping Liz has added a quick 900 jobs in the last couple of hours, nice leaping there and now I believe the top three are ladies.

Long Time No Flight x.x Geez guys and gals it's probably been a full month and a half at least since I have fully been involved in the pocket planes world. My airline is probably covered in dust and falling apart by now. I probably will join in the fun if I see an interesting prize plane available but for now I am stuck on a new game that I'd love to share with my kind friends here at TA1. It's called D.O.T. defender of Texel. It's a neat rpg/collection game. It's fast paced and doesn't require a ton time to play, which is perfect for me while studying for the mcat. There is always some event going on with special monsters and rewards. New available dungeons every few days. In addition to the main rpg player progressing the story line, you can also battle your friends monsters. The battle system is quite different from the RPGs I have played before but it is fairly intuitive and very simple to pick up and play. If anyone is interested in the game, you can find my in game information in my signature and don't hesitate to friend me and ask for any advice. I'll do my best to get you moving in the right direction. Anyways enough of my new venture. What global prize is on everyone's wish list for the next event? I would definitely be in my pilot suit tomorrow if they did a full P-40! Hopefully somewhere like Nome as well. Hey guys, just downloaded the Pocket Plane app a few days ago...already addicted -__-. Already level 10 flying Osaka, Shanghai, Seoul and Taiwan routes. I read on here that I should close my their 1 airports and have. Good thing, because most of my planes couldn't get any jobs in those. Seems like bux are a lot more common in the later levels right? Takes me ages to get enough bux for a plane part haha. Currently using my bux for the Birchcraft planes. Is this wise? Or should I hoard my bux for some super awesome plane that only comes a few levels down? Thanks in advance for your guidance!

nope not to worry about upside down just one of the Easter eggs don't know if it gives you more coins or bux not proven yet finally a Class 2 event

Anyone else not getting the global event showing on the events list and therefore no blue jobs on the jobs list. Also is this a P only event, just wondering so I know which planes to move
When one of my Aeroeagles recently flew upside down, I took a minute to count the rate of coins and occurance of bux. There was no difference than during regular upright flight
Yep, I can do it. As far as possible. Trying to figure out gender from the list, this is not easy! Folks, can we try to be a bit more precise with our choice of aliases in future? We've got two problems here: 1. A shortage of girls (Faye, your opting out doesn't exactly help us here ); and 2. A surplus of generosity. One way to solve both in one swell foop (somehow I always get this one wrong) would be to just forget about gender. We've got plenty of prizes and it solves the M/F headache.
