Castlepage I am still in NA working a job. After that it is to Africa for the next one. Then to Rome to get my 45 bux. I seldom take the chilly route since one side of the plane is wide open and I don't want my people to freeze.
Building on Faye's ideas for the MORONS giveaway I have some thoughts. Give the prizes out as normal for 1st-10th, but if someone doesn't want/need that prize then it goes to the person below until you have given out the ten prizes. So say 3rd and 5th don't want the prize, give the 3rd place prize to 4th and the 4th prize to 6th etc then 11th and 12th get the last two prizes rather than two prizes not being given out. Also I like the idea of a spot prize for anyone below the top ten, this should be chosen by the person giving the prizes then revealed at the end so no one can just play to get that spot. For examples sake, if you did the MORONS giveaway for rome then I could just play for 14th to get the top prize rather than pushing on for top ten. Right its lunchtime now so off to go send some planes off and make some money/bux
I second this idea, and since I'm definitely going to be in the top 10 and I'm on android...which you people are making me hate by the day...you can give my prize away.
You all have great ideas for MORONS winners/prizes, I'm sure there'll be plenty of opportunity to try them all. Love Merlion's idea of noting contributions in the "notes" column. The only thing we need to be diligent about is getting Leaderboard screenshots at the end of each event. Plus this helps us populate the spreadsheet with everyone, not just the Top 10. Doh! I just realized that I can pull 4 more planes out of the hangar for the Rome event. I pretty much work from the top part of my planes list, no reason to look at the planes in flight, so only noticed this now. LOL
Hey everybody, I've been playing for about a week now, and I would like some advice from some of the more experienced players about the most profitable routes/networks for my current set-up. I am level 13 and I currently have 80,000 coins and 150 bux. I have 10 Planes: (2) Kangaroo-P, (2) Kangaroo-C, (4) Kangaroo-M, and (2) Sequoia-M I have 6 Airports: SF, LA, Dallas, NY, Paris, and Rome (for the event) Right now, I have half my Kangaroos in North America and half my Kangaroos in Europe. My Sequoias fly from Paris to LA and back carrying a full load both ways. I use SF to feed LA with Paris jobs, and I use Rome to feed Paris with LA jobs. What I would like to know, is how I should expand from here? I was thinking about opening Delhi and Tokyo, and then sending my Sequoias from Tokyo to LA, but is that a profitable idea? Also, I am pretty sure that I want to keep my fleet all Kangaroos, Aeroeagles (when I can get them), and Sequoias, so what route/network works best for those planes? Basically I am asking, if you more experienced players were in my shoes, what airports would you buy/close and where/what should my planes be moving? Istanbul/Tehran would be good choices for expanding to East Asia. If you are set on opening Tokyo, then I would choose Tehran since you have Sequoias. The Sequoia can do Paris - Tehran - Tokyo. (The Sequoia can't make the Istanbul - Tokyo hop) If you're not set on opening Tokyo, then Shanghai/Seoul would be other good alternatives ... and your Sequoia can easily do Paris - Istanbul - Shanghai/Seoul. (I also want to point out that having Istanbul sets you up to do New York - Istanbul - Shanghai/Seoul with Cyclones) I would try to phase out San Francisco and Dallas. Okay so I reached level 36 this morning, so I added Stockholm, and Adelaide, I am still pretty confident we will get a massive update either before Easter, or for the first anniversary of Pocket Planes.
I wanted to publically thank Perfect Trumpet and Castle Page for the planes. This is so humbling to start over. I just got my first set of Kangaroos and no bux to upgrade! Whoopee! Level 8.....it will be a while before I can help the team in events.
NimbleBit MORONS for Valentine So far I count pledges for 6 full HAB + 13 parts. This should be quite enough for the Valentine prize pool. I suggest we award 2 HAB for the winner, 1 HAB for the rest of Top 5, 1 part to nrs 6-15. Please let me know if you don't agree (while offering alternative suggestions, of course ) Castle pledged 2 Seqs in addition to his 2 HABs but I suggest we stick with HABs for the main contest. We can, however, use a Seq for another suggestion, the Rookie Prize. This should be an encouraging prize for and up and coming talent. Someone like that could use a Seq better than a HAB anyway. Any suggestions as to how to award it? Elections? Or somebody posts and others chime in? That leaves the only remaining question. Like the guy in the bar in Bangkok said: now we need to figure out which ones are the girls... Cheers, M.
Seems a bit slow paced, slow advancement. Have experienced a few lockups and popups for other games is way too frequent.
