I'm willing to contribute toward the prize pool, these extra rewards are fun! How to manage? Hmmm...maybe we have another sheet in the spreadsheet with those that are willing to contribute. Could also list what's available as prizes from each player and what platform we're on. Like the idea of mixing things up and having prizes for those in 11-20th place.

"But Merlion," I hear the clueless NimbleBitters say, "what should we give out as a prize then? We have only planes". The answer is obvious, clueless Nimblebitters. One of the most romantic things you can give your girl for Valentine is a balloon ride. You'll have to man the controls yourself cuz there's only room for two, but that makes it all the more romantic. So Boyles' idea of a balloon is the best ever. Here's my proposal: highest finishing girl in the Valentine event receives a Hot Air Balloon. All other girls in the Top Twenty-Five receive a Hot Air Balloon part. The boys donate the parts. I have plenty of HABs but I definitely like the idea of others chipping in. Especially because more people can receive a prize that way (damn you, clueless Nimblebitters, with your maximum of 100 friends). It'll need some coordination though. Otherwise I can see Faye receiving 15 Hot Air Balloons or so Boyles' other idea of awarding the 11-20s has some logic to it. They need it more. But these are contests, people. Winners receive prizes. Others don't. Changing that around would be communism. Plus there's the little problem of NB ranking our friends lists by level. So my feeling is that we should leave charity to individuals. I'm still fairly new to this game so I've got a couple questions. If my iPod loses its WiFi connection before a plane full of global event fares lands, will it actually count towards my total jobs done? Is there any way to trade between iOS versions and Android versions? Thank you
Point of clarification: Yes, it will count when you reconnect, but ONLY if you reconnect before the end of the event. Once the event is over, Nimblebit freezes the stats so if you have 47 jobs done, lose your connection, send 10 more, but don't log in until after the event ends, you wouldn't get the prize automatically.
TA1 collectively taking over NimbleBit's MORONS job Easiest way that springs to my mind is to put a mention in the 'notes' column for the Rome event what you want to contribute (behind your own name). In this case HAB plane, or part. Don't need to specify part (let's stick to mystery parts ) That way, once the event is done, one of us can allocate all the contributions to the lucky winners, just by picking each name that has a contribution and putting that name in the notes column behind the winner's name. All you then have to do as a contributor is open the Rome tab, look up your name, and send that person the part or plane you pledged. I'll do the allocations for the Rome event, as it ends 4PM on a rainy Sunday afternoon for me. (GMT+8 and rainy season, good combination ) Someone else'll have to the midweek ones as they end at my 4AM. No changes to the spreadsheet needed, and if there are multiple plane donors we can just allocate planes prizes to the top finishers, continuing with mystery part prizes subsequently. LOL Gus Kingeroos (King of roos), you are giving Vic a run for his money. He used to wow us with pics of his 51 (51? forgot the exact number) planes in the air. Can you list the scenic route from New Orleans to Rome? I'm trying to see which route to take. 54 slots ALL roos? WOW ! It takes 54*3 = 162 bux to hangar and re-commission 54 roos. Which is slight more expensive than upgrading a cloudliner twice.
Not sure if it's the same on Android but in the iOS app you go to Settings from the Main Menu, then click Sync Enabled under iCloud. When something bad happens, you can uninstall and install, then reload from the latest cloud sync so you lose very little work. Cheers, M.
Ok I can't participate in the morons challenge... but if someone on android finishes...and is a girl I will donate a plane. I really wish nimble and mobage would work together so I can gift people on here, and at the very least see names on the leaderboards. Btw— I was the 2493 for the last event, and think rewarding people that finish 11-20th is just plain dumb. Reward them for grinding...not just because! If I can grind it with my 19 slots...so can they.
