OK, thanks. I started in Detroit, added Toronto and Boston, got rid of Ottawa, and just replaced my 1 seater planes with Airvans, which seems to be way quicker cash now.

In my opinion, you buy Kangaroos, Aeroeagles and Sequoia. The rest are useless. When you are able to buy kangaroo do so.

Just wanting the opinions of you guys on my route and strategy and my plans for it. Just wondering if there are any tweaks you guys can suggest to tune it up.

Current route sees me with LA to London via Chicago with passengers, also LA to Paris via New York with cargo. This section is flown by single Aeroeagles from LA to the respective american airport and a Cloudliner for the transatlantic.

From London and Paris again single Aeroeagles feeding to Tehran leaving layovers there. Other Aeroeagles then feed Delhi and Bangkok with.

I also have 2 Sequoias which I use alternately use on the transatlantic routes or to feed global events.

    My Planes are

    6 Aeroeagles (3P and 3C)
    2 Cloudliners (1P and 1C)
    2 Sequoia (1P and 1C)

Add to this an event fleet of 4 Kangaroo's (2P and 2C) and another 2 Sequioa (yup you guessed it 1P and 1C) and in the hanger a mix of various Mohawks and a Kringle kruiser that I can add to class 1 events, substituting for my standard fleet as I don't have the spare cash to add plane slots (part of the reason I need to tune up my strategy).

Basic strategy at the moment is to make as much profit as I can, filling the largest planes as much as possible for the 25% bonus but picking up all bux jobs too regardless of destination to build up the bux funds too.

Future plans are to upgrade NY, Chicago, London and Paris to Class 2 initially to increase the flow of jobs at the centre of my route for the larger planes. Hopefully then I can build up my funds again and add plane slots which I will use for more Sequioas to take the place of the Aeroeagles freeing them for bux sitting.

Think thats all for now, if you want any further info please ask

    Big Bux

Finally got my 12 bux job. I wonder if it's possible to get 13 bux on a job?

    These are pretty rare.

I've done oodles of 11 bux jobs, until somebody posted that 12s were possible. Reopened Nome especially for that. (I already had all of NZ open.) That was more than a month ago, and I yet have to see my first 12, let alone a 13! :(

In the World Leaderboard, 4th through 7th are all pretty close with each other as Padang is about to end.

    At last...

Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I guess that's the American version of Chinese New Year?

It's a full plane event. (Finally!) Sequoia-M, that'll be popular. And now for the mystery parts...

No bux for the top ten, only the plane. Rest gets a Sequoia-M part plus 10 bux.

    Cheers,
    M.

    Thanks Faye!

tfrichards, superpenguin and coastcat, you all gave me a good run the last couple days! It was particularly close this evening.

I'm also not playing for extras prizes (MORONS etc) just wanted to have a first place once :)

Lots of unknowns in the top 10! Let us know if you are one of the 3rd, 8th or 9th place holders.

Hooray, a full-plane event with mystery parts. Hope the New Orleans advertising team doesn't experience a power cut...

Woo hoo 3rd so far in the New Orleans event :D

Already got a few mystery parts and the event is only a few minutes old, expect the market to be flooded with Sequioa-M's by the end of the event if this continues

Already got a mystery part, this event will really help as I need more seqouia's. I finished 12th on the last event. I am not going to have much time to devote to this event but will give it what time I can.

Trying to decide if I will fly my Roos out if New York or open up Houston and fly them from there which would mean some aeroeagles would need to be used to get the jobs from Ny and La to Houston.

    Any thoughts?

I've gone for putting the Kangas through the hanger and am flying them from NY and Chicago as that links up with my existing routes. More jobs too as they are both class 3

    Merlionine,

Not exactly. It's more like carnivale from brazil. Celebrates the end of being allowed to eat meat as Lent starts next Wednesday I think.

Thanks TF, but I was kidding. Or rather nagging, since in an earlier post I'd made a case for Chinese New Year (and a C-130 as the prize).

I know the event very well. It's a big celebration in my home country, where you dress in a silly costume for three days, change the name of your city, dance in the streets and have fun. It's referred to as either Carnaval, or Lent's Eve in some local dialects. In the morning one breakfasts on raw herring, which works wonders against hangovers.

Unfortunately we don't have it in Singapore, where people generally are way too serious to behave like that :)

    Cheers,
    M.

Too and I fell asleep with about 3 hours to go. Not bad though. More interesting is that I think I delivered more bux than ever before.
