We could also offer some of the standard planes as well. Bet there are plenty of rookies that could put up a fight if the prize where a Cloudliner as an example I'll gladly contribute to as many events as I can, alltho my stock of rare planes is down due to trading. But if we use class 3 normal planes, I can buy plenty of those
Great ideas guys. It would be a lot I more fun if the prize was always a full plane. It doesn't have to be a rare plane. I'm sure a lot of players would be more interested if a random higher level player helped sweeten the prizes each event. Doesn't even have to be a rare plane. Nimblebit has proved that.. (Super gopher event.....) I would help contribute the to a prize pool any time. I don't have a lot if rare items but cloudliners and cyclones would be fine.

Swamped Hi guys! Just wanted to check in after taking two full cups of coffee to read thru the forum pages of the last 2-3 weeks. My wife went on vacation for a week and I had the kids and everything else, then I needed a vacation from her vacation but instead needed to get caught up on work, so I've not been in PP much lately. Relharn, thanks for collecting that data! Sometime I hope to extend that test a little further, but it's been so busy lately.
Enjoying the SciFi con event but does anyone know how to get nerd smell out of a plane? And can they give use some Slave-girl Leia's to go with all these storm troopers? or some Cowboy Bebop cosplay, I am sure Faye wouldn't mind.
Big jets bad, props good? I've pretty much unlocked all the planes in PP now and am constantly frustrated that none of my big jets seems to turn a profit. The Sequoia is my workhorse for all the level 3 routes and does fine. Any explanations for this?
I would like to add that all my big jets have never turned a profit. I use them to deliver the jobs to a class 3 airport near their destination and then make final delivery with Kangaroos, Birchcraft and Aeroeagles. The profit those planes turn more than make up for the losses from the transport jets. I hope that helps.
Rick, Try not to fret too much about planes making a loss during a flight. Depending on how you play, some planes will make a loss, while others make a profit. Looking at your daily average revenue (Menu>Stats) is a better way to see how you're doing overall. Do try to have you planes fill up with same destination jobs during the last leg of the flight (for the 25% bonus). My Cyclone will lose close to 10,000 coins flying from Buenos Aires to Jakarta (carrying Padang event jobs) ... but I will make it up when my little Class 1 planes take those Padang jobs from Jakarta to Padang.

I've done that before! So nice to see them land in the same order. Then I renamed some of my planes ... my non-floater Cyclones are guys names ... Adam, Bob, Chris, Don, Fred, Greg, Hank, John, Ken, Lewis, Mike ... hmmm, looks like I skipped E and I. That ($2 bill folded into a heart) looks awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Just for fun. Rick: I was at 2.7 million and 1200 bux at the beginning of the Padang event. Now at 2.88 and 1400ish bux. I routinely was loosing 4-6000 coins for seq flights from rdj/sp to Jakarta but making that up when Roos sks and a maple deliver them.
Am loving the MORONS prize giveaways but I have the feeling the same guys are going to get the prizes. I'm level 25 and don't have the plane resources or the time to get to the top ten of the TA1 crew. It would need me to fill most of my available plane slots with Kangaroos or similar with a couple of sequioas feeding them to get anywhere close to the top levels and I don't have the time or bux at the minute to run that strategy. One of the posts above from Faye mentioned it would be nice to give high level planes to lower level players to help them but i'm thinking that no one at my level or below could compete with the top guys on this forum, i.e. Gus172 with his swarm of Kangas as an example. I can only dream of having the cash and bux to do that at the minute but the way I can play around work time means I don't make too much at the mo'. Maybe I need to tune up my stratagy but that is for another time and another post Like I said, its a brilliant idea seeing as Nimblebit seem to be stuck for ways to freshen up the game, but there needs to be someway of getting the prizes to the lower level guys who could use the Class 3 planes or haven't got any parts for special planes. Anyway off to go send a few more loads to the event then call it a night, have an annoyingly busy friday tomorrow
