Yeah, but the Birchcraft is a Class 2 plane, Mapple is Class 1 which is useful for certain events ;-)
Hi guys just added myself to the TA1 spreadsheet, will change my flightcrew ID when this event finishes. Would have done it before but I was away from my computer over the weekend and didn't want to join without going on the spreadsheet. Just checking the flightcrew name is Toucharcade1. Will be good to go on the TA1 crew as it will provide a challenge rather than winning everything with TA, just hope there will be something worth winning in the next one, bux prizes are useful but not that inspiring.

Look for any post from Snowbird, whose .sig includes a link to a collection of threads on strategy options. What level are you and what planes do you have already? What airports do you have open? We can give you better help if we know what you have available now.
Nope, not addicted at all, not playing regularly at all. Try not to buy too many class 1 (grey) and class 2 cities (blue). Focus on the class 3 (red) cities if you can afford them, they offer bigger job lists, which makes it easier to fill plane for 25% bonus, which means you'll make more coins (important early in the game, not so much later on) Buying parts is much cheaper than buying whole planes, especially the bigger planes that are unlocked in later levels. Check out the 2nd link in my signature below, it contains links to some forum posts that might be of interest. There should be 3 links for beginners. Where did you find so many $2 bills? I'm about to reach 10lvl right now. Airports: Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Brussels, Prague, Vienna, Munich, Bern, Lyon, Venice, Rome, Barcelona (blue) and Berlin (blue). Planes: Bearclaw-P, Griffon-C, Navigator-C, Wallapy-P, Airvan-P, Airvan-M and Anan-C
It really is so much fun, I have had it since release date, the only downside is that every time you progress a level it takes longer to add new airports, like I'm approaching level 36, and I predict I will need approximately 4,500,000 exp to get to the next level.
From level 36 I am going to add a city from two different continents, I predict I will reach level 36 on Valentines Day, or 15 February.
Just offering my opinion ... and I can type more than earlier, now that I'm on the computer instead of iPhone ... I would not bother upgrading any of those planes. They will be put in the hanger as soon as you're able to expand the range between airports. Next step in airplanes to get would be: Kangaroo (class 1) and Aeroeagle (class 2). I would consider both of these "keepers" that you will use for a long time. (I'm level 56 and still rely on both these planes for global events) At level 10, your primary goal is to build up coins and Bux. Try to fill planes with jobs going to the same city for the 25% bonus. Try to trim down the class 1 (gray) cities. Class 1 cities do not offer many jobs (harder to fill planes). And the job list gets "diluted" when you have so many airports, making it more challenging to fill up for the 25% bonus (may have to wait several job refresh cycles). You can buy a bazillion airports later in the game, after you've become more established. So keep your two Class 2 cities for now (Barcelona, Berlin), try to close the Class 1 cities, and aim for buying Class 3 cities when you can afford them. Then close your Class 2 cities. London would be better than Paris to begin with, since you can do London-New York with an Aeroeagle. Can't do Paris to New York with Aeroeagle, but it can be done with some of the bigger planes you'll unlock later on. I can't see any sense in opening such an airport as Bern, Venice or Vienna but Warsaw, Amsterdam or Rome are keeping me busy now I suppose I should leave them and close the few that offer mi less jobs and try to collect coins for London, right?
It depends on your style of play, of course...But I have no class 1 cities currently. In the future, I think i would only open a class 1 city that's a global event city or a checkpoint to reach the global event city. I echo Faye's other comment about the planes: I understand the temptation to get bigger/longer range planes as they become available, I think I would not have gotten them knowing now that I only use Aeroeagles and Sequoias for almost everything. I use Roos (a solitary mapple, and a couple of SKs) for global events. Regarding faye's comment about 100 people in the friends list, what are others doing? Eliminating people in GC? I'd like to send things/gifts down the list as others have gifted me. I've had the $2 bills for a long time (> 20 years) as they're so unique so I've held onto them.

"playing" is kind of a big word for Simpsons Tapped out There is absolutely no gameplay whatsoever, the IAP is horrendous (a single building can cost the equivalent of 10 bucks ), with almost no possible way of earning it in game. But it's the Simpsons, there are some funny voice over samples, the visuals are gorgeous in HD, and they do regular updates with events like XMas or Valentine. mp me with your Origin id if you want to add me though I'd rather recommend checking the new Pixel People if you liked TT. Or Blockheads if you're into world exploration Minecradt style. Both are also free.
Is this from a update on Android? Doubt we'll see this on idevices as Nimblebit said it's for mac only and their not responsible for the Android version. Wich might explain why it's released for Android now. One can hope tho, wouldn't mind a fleet of mapples
