Ok so if I start a airport in Brisbane, can I build one near there And put a plane there and fly back and forth? I started in California/southwestern america. Thx in advanced
Yeah, you can. I started in NA too, so I jUst bought Sydney and Brisbane. I might just leave or sell those after the event though.
So you just started playing hmm i think you are going to have a hard time since Class 1 planes dont fly that far unless you planned on country hoping from America all the way to Brisbane so the suggestion here is to open airports in Australia
Yes you can. Although the list of available jobs will include your American airports too (which you can't reach)
Well, if the range is big enough between the airports, then I guess it will work. I'm waiting to get to lvl 9, to buy Brisbane and have another airport near it, so I can have 1 airplane earning.
You're misunderstanding him. He just wants to build two airports in Australia and station a plane there for the duration of the event. He's not gonna fly from the US to Australia..
I'm keeping mine too, at least those that are in Canada. My own personal goal in this game is to provide service to every Canadian airport, even the small ones up north like Iqaluit and Inuvik. I guess I've watched too many episodes of "Ice Pilots NWT".
Right where do I open my next airport? My current airports are in no order Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich and Istanbul Airports I have been looking at opening are Paris, Tehran and New York. I am at level 10 so any advice would be great.
Does anyone know if its possible to upgrade a Birchcraft to do New York to London? Also about the event in Brisbane if TA wins do we get te full war hawk?Cause I already have one piece but it's kinda useless with the rest of it.
I've given up in Brisbane (we are going to win this anyways). I'm doing an experiment now: I'm trying to complete a local event (1000 jobs needed) to see what I can get for it!
I'm newbie to this game, only lvl 8, so I need some help. Where should I place my airports, and when I close an airport, do I need to buy it again, or just reopen, or wut? And what's good about getting airports in big cities, and that class 1, 2, 3... :S. I really hope someone can explain it for me x)
My goal is to provide for every airport in Canada,USA, and the small islands like easter that are locked from communication
Tehran would be a good choice, since it would allow you to make connections with Asia in the future. You would at least need a fully upgraded Pearjet (class 2) to make a transatlantic flight from London-New York.
Love playing the game, and works well with a small form factor like iPod/iPhone. However, it has just enough of a comparison to Transport Tycoon (Which started out originally in a prototype phase as a train game) to have me pine for someone to develop a workable version of TT on the iPad. (The cydia version didn't look that great, and apparently no longer available? -I think it needed a more powerful CPU to feed off of... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Leo35zwaJg&feature=related, but really the controls need to be reworked for a touch device.)
Not buying airports too close to each other would be good, for a start. And no, you'd have to repurchase the airport in question again, although selling airports gives you half back of what it took to buy them. Big cities(>9mil people) are able to accommodate bigger planes (class 2, class 3) in the later levels. Also, they usually have more jobs and layover spaces, so you would probably not face a 'no jobs' screen at big airports like Tokyo.
Found my answer: NO! Layovers suck unless you're flying from Los Angeles to Tokyo. Going out of your way to micromanage layovers is not worth it, especially if you have lots of planes and airports. Pick the best possible route and move on.
