Glad Robo managed to get the Top 10 at 2.25 hrs. On Saturday evening, I thought I'd close my eyes for just "a few minutes" and wake up before midnight to get the Moscow Leaderboard ... but I didn't wake up until hours later, after midnight. Guess I was a lot more tired than I thought. I haven't been spending as much time in Pocket Planes .... got sidetracked with the new Blockheads game. I can't play both since the BH game requires you to keep the app open while it does something ... so you can only keep it open while you wait and wait and wait. I've been playing BH while watching TV. It looks great! My 7 yr old loves the color. She likes to paint my planes "girly" colors. There goes my color coding! It's OK, I don't need color coding or naming schemes cuz I can identify the planes by sight now ... clearly a sign I've been playing this game too long. Hmmmm.... I have 40 plane slots, but not making it rich fast at 600k daily revenue. My revenue was 350k until the last couple days when I slightly increased my focus on coin generating routes. @Vic Love your class 1 fleet.

Check out the Bux Calculator on the spreadsheet that is linked in my signature. Use it to find out how many coins you'll get from your Bux. It'll also tell you how many plane slots you can buy after cashing in your Bux. I think I cashed it an 25k. Some people here recommend cashing in small, then cashing in again at a higher amount (such as 5k, then 10k) ... so you can buy more plane slots which will aid in accumulating Bux at a faster rate.
Sorry for my slackness over the last month or so TA1! Been busy with work and over the christmas period. Trying to get back into the event routines now having built up a thousand bux and plenty of cash focusing on a NYC to Shanghai route with bux in-between. Also managed to push up to lvl 30 How are things for everyone?
Got a question.. I had a flight going from Beijing to Tokyo. Loaded with bux passengers from LA/Chicago/NY. I had the 25% bonus and over 70 bux worth of passengers on board. Only bux. Yet the flight managed a 2,163 coin profit... How so?
When Bux passengers are loaded into a flight with others going to the same place for the 25% bonus, the BUX passengers still give the coin bonus equivalent to what that bonus would have been if they were coin paying passengers, if that makes sense. Because it was such a short flight but the passengers were from far away, those bonuses were enough to give a profit
Yay. I guess we all "gave until it hurt." Somebody send me a part so I can at last experience not crashing.
Alltho it's nice to be able to gift and recive without crashing again, I'm kind of dissapointed with the "update". Expected more than a bugfix this time to be honest... Anyone else??
I'm content with a bug fix. For now. More achievements to chase after would be welcome, though. Having slacked off for the Moscow event (red cities are dull), I've been going full-out for Yinchuan. There are a lot of blank spots in my leaderboard! I'm at #1 and there's only 1 name (Macsym42) in the next 5 slots.
Thank you Mario, but our cargo is in another castle. I haven't tried it yet, but hopefully it fixes the problem of it freezing (at lunchtime, I had to close PP about eight times whilst filling, and then sending off, one of my planes). Also, something I thought of tonight (thanks to it being mentioned on the bus home) - if the global event that lasts between January 30th and February 3rd isn't a "Football Final" in New Orleans with a prize of 49 bux, they've really missed a trick. (For those that don't understand this, the 3rd is the Superbowl (American Football's biggest game), which is being played in New Orleans, and one of the teams is the San Francisco 49ers.)
not impressed with the "bug fixes" in 1.1.2 Pfft. I got to play 6 whole minutes after updating before it crashed again.
They haven't fixed that. The bug fixes are cargo related, airport stats and crashes when reciving gifts.
Grrrr. As a long time Atlanta Falcons fan I'm currently depressed. :-( Pity there's no plane called a Raven.
Finally a small update, I am hoping to fly to Sevilla this evening as I had Cordoba Spain, have not played it since the update yet, next update it would be nice if you could find an easier way to earn bux, and a few new cities would be nice too Birmingham, Exeter, Southampton, Newcastle, Cardiff, Bristol, Dublin, Norwich, Aberdeen, Carlisle, and Edinburgh, I would be more than happy with all of them. And a few worldwide and European cities too, and how about having an air steward/ stewardess on each flight, and longer character names for the planes eg. 10-13 letters.
