    Most Profitable Flight

Folks...am now at Level 32. What's the most profitable direct flight possible? Taking time and effort into consideration.

My strategy has been close to this but a little different and a take off of something you mentioned in a previous post. I am loading all planes except 3 in Tokyo. I am filling bux jobs and NY jobs only and stopping in every city along the way(Shanghai, Xian. Tehran, Paris, and London). As I load a full plane of bux and NY when I come to the next city I unload all and then add NY jobs to the mix. By the time I get to NY I have NY passengers laid over in every city along the way and lots of buxs along the way in every city. The strategy you said was to never stop the plane in NY and so I return it to each city on the way back to Tokyo and pick up the Tokyo, Shanghai, and Xian bux. If I have a decent amount of bux in London or Paris for Mumbai and Karachi then I will grab them all the way to Tehran and run them. If not they will stay in the city that I first dropped them. A LOT of the time I will just bypass the bux collection on the way back and just spend a buck to quickly return the empty plane. Since I don't yet have the slots to get a bunch of class 1 planes to play the other events, I can collect the bux after this event is over.

Interesting. How many planes are doing this "bus stop" strategy?
I tried to add you on GC but it didn't work. Could u try to add me or check your GC in the Ta1 spreadsheet?

Full aeroeagles, for me, seem to be more efficient than pearjets. Sequoias are even better but they're a couple of levels away from you.

    Hi!

Although I'm a new member to the forums, I've been flying for #toucharcade for some time now. I've managed to grind myself to level 41. Currently I'm using a fleet of Cyclones and a few Cloudbusters. Oh, and the Sea Knight for events and doing the 100 jobs to remote places achievements.

If anyone has a few Hot Ait Balloon bits lying around (Body-Engine), then I'd be more than happy to swap them for Kringle Kruiser Engine/Controls or for anything I can get my hands on from the market :)

Currently I have around 15 planes doing this route (9 sequoia, 4aero, and 2 pearjet...I think) other 3(Aero) are running between LA, CHI, and MxCity. Not sure why but I'm getting garbage out of those 3 cities ever since the event started and I've been advertising NY around the clock. NEVER more than 2 or 3 passengers wanting NYC, and barely any bux jobs. Starting to think that Nimble has ways of tweaking the game based on where the event is being held. I don't know gaming so I could be way off on that guess...just a feeling.
I edited the GC id on the spreadsheet because I'm unfortunately just on Android. There was a vicsark that I sent a friend invite to on mobage so hopefully that is you?
Lastly, I want to see a contest between you and some of these other "bux kings". Something like 3 days to see who can grab the most Bux. I wish I could move into that strategy, unfortunately my mind either wraps all the various strategies together and I get confused that way, or I try one strategy and get frustrated with it and then try another and my game ends up suffering for a week (or so it seems). SO...I guess I'll just keep looking for an answer on here and grinding away until I get bored with this game. Maybe Merlion has the right idea...open a ton of airports and just kick it. :D

What's your GC id? I have spare hot air balloon parts.

Since you're new to the forum, welcome! I'd like to invite you to fly for #toucharcade1, most active forum members have switched over. Although you may want to wait till after the current global event (and after you get your prize!) before switching so you don't lose all the current global event jobs you've done.

Around how many planes did everyone implement a bux strategy. I've been doing just coins since I restarted. I have 19 plane slots. Should I actually start to strategize?

But when you have so many planes bringing everything to NY, do you find that it exceeds 60 layovers on a regular basis?

Would be cool if we had the option of going from 60 to 120 layover spots at the cost of x Bux (a substantial amount?).

TFI: I couldn't agree more on the various strategies and getting confused.

I have 19 as well. Trying to get back to 1.6m coins to get the 20th slot and 300k to get Seoul/Shanghai to upgrade-3. I started with the dual-hub strategy on each end wit those ends being Seoul/Shanghai and Rio de Janeiro/Sao Paulo with Cairo being in the middle. At the moment I'm not well organized as I still have my NA and European airports open but will work on resolving out of the class-2 airports as i deliver the bux jobs. Right now, I'm trying to figure out the delivery structure from those hubs to Cairo to distribute out everywhere else. I may open Tehran/Istanbul if Cairo is closed and/or a second distribution hub and split the jobs between Tehran and Cairo for East/West bound cargo.

My current fleet distribution at the moment:
    ----
    4 Sequoia-M's named SABX1, SABX2, APBX1, APBX2 -- bux collecting on the ends and exchanging layovers.

3 Sequoia-M's named DEL01, DEL02, DEL03 -- Semi-actively flying between ends and Cairo and other places delivering and what not. Very disorganized at the moment.
1 Fogbuster-P -- Doing some P only delivery of bux jobs.
    1 Sequoia-C -- See above.

    3 Pearjet-P's and 2 Pearjet-C's
    1 Aeroeagle-P and 1 Aeroeagle-C
3 Aeroeagle-M's -- Normal every day runs collecting 25% here and there. Doing some deliveries of BUX from South America to North America, sometimes trans-north-atlantic deliveries. usually delivering intra-NA and inter NA-SA traffic.
    ----

    Future Plans:
Swap out Fogbuster-P and Seq-C for Seq-M's (thanks, Boomerkidd!).
    Swap out Pearjets for Aeroeagle-M's.
    Swap out Aeroeagle-P/C for Aeroeagle-M's.
Acquire more plane slots for Class-1 deliveries with variety of Kangaroos, SK's, and a Mapple, and more slots for Seq-M deliveries.

See my signature. it's one of the links.

Good question! I think I was around 20 or so...but I never leveled up faster OR earned plan slots so fast. In my opinion, once you are in a place with enough cash to begin any of the fine strategies listed here, hit the strategy hard for a week or two and ignore everything else in the game until you collect several tens of thousands of bux. Then when you cash in, you can add like ten plane slots and have tons left over and never have to worry about coins ever again.
