Dear Paris, please don't close after the event, I just bux boosted all my loaded Class 3 planes there. Added, thanks!
And we're good to go at 3rd place more than 500 jobs ahead Well done TA1 for this late plane boosting! I sent 500 jobs in less than 1 hour Hurray for the 54 planes!
lol How can can newbies be involved in your so called social play ground if a lot of their questions go unanswered? I tried to integrate with people on here witch fell on deaf ears. Only two people helped me, the rest obviously had their own agenda's. I think new comers get a very frosty reception and wondered what could be done to try and avoid this?
You beat me to updating the spreadsheet. I haven't played since yesterday, so nothing for GC to update today. Not a whole lot of time to play, still on vacation, I'm driving today so won't have time to start the new event that begins in a few minutes. I know a few regulars try to update the spreadsheet with the Top 10 on the Leaderboard ... but it would be really nice if others on the Leaderboard could also add their data (and the people around them) to the spreadsheet. Would love to see everyone below the Top 10.
Nicely done I only have 12 event planes. (also 12 bux planes, and 2 Honolulu-LA Class 2's) I try to answer all polite inquiries. When I started out though, I didn't come online and go "Hey I'm new, give me stuff!!!" (I'm not saying you did this, but many have). When I started I read as much of this thread as I could. I know it is a huge thread now but many of us have in our signatures links to some of the best content here, and that is a great place to start. Some days I don't get on this forum and it moves 3-4 pages in a couple hours. On those days I skim through and I'll answer anything that sticks out. Will I answer every single "why hasn't my prize arrived yet?"? No. Because that information is readily available in the game help, and in 672 other places in this thread. I'm happy to help people when I have time. But sometimes I am browsing on my phone and it's too hard to type out a novel on that itty bitty keyboard. Yes! It was fun in the KK event when we had lots of names and numbers on the board.
Figured it would be a Level 1 event after I spent like ~400 very-hard-earned bux on cloudliner activations and upgrades! Now I have to figure out which class 2 and 3 planes to remove to get to vegas. Luckily I already have san fran and LA operating, so it will be easy flights from there. Guess the blimp is coming back out
Let's just say sdo62 and I were tied for 4th. Wow, you guys are much more efficient at running event jobs than me... You only had 12 event planes, whereas I used around 30! Paris is already a very central city too... I even named all of my event planes the city of origin (2 planes per city) so that I would know what kind of job to look for. Also had 4 Aeroeagles running jobs to Paris from Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona, and Algiers, and another doing the London-Paris run. That's it: time to send them back empty - regardless of origin!
1 Minute to go Here's the numbers around me. Only 1 person on my friends list! I need to go over that spreadsheet again. 60 - 293 61 - 279 Perfect Trumpet 62 - 278 63 - 271 64 - 256 Me 65 - 250 66 - 243 67 - 235 68 - 220 69 - 214 Do your planes in the air at the end count toward the event? I had 29 jobs in flight when it ended.
WELCOME DUDLEY!!! There are a lot of friendly people here who are very generous with their advice. There's a wealth of knowledge to be gained by reading through the posts on this forum however I realize it can be overwhelming with thousands of pages. I posted a little while back (here: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2607234&postcount=11275) with links to some interesting forum posts, you might want to take a look through them as there are some good strategies you can try implementing into your game. Snowbird hit it on the nail. It is a very busy forum and posts are easily missed. I've been on vacation and will admit to not reading very carefully all the posts during the past couple of weeks. And like Snowbird, I'm less inclined to type a long reply when I'm on my phone.
