Afraid I don't have any parts for a starship atm. I need to go through my parts and see what spares I have, will see if I can get a trade done for one for you though
This is the problem with the way they are doing it. The part will be random. And the next two times they run a Concorde event it will also be random. So months from now tou might have three Controls. Has put a bit of a damper on my enthusiasm for the game for the moment.
Definitely, but I don't have a lot left to play for at this point. I don't need anymore coins. I don't need anymore bux. Leveling up does me no good. I was hoping a whole Concord event with mystery parts would give me a fleet of 8 or 9 that I could experiment with to maximize routes with them.
This. The way they run these parts events I seriously wouldn't even be surprised if we don't see a whole concord for another year at least. Add to that the random factor and the possibility of getting multiple of the same, (for example I have 3x starship controls), it could take forever. I understand making it hard to get and rare etc, but honestly to only give out a part after waiting so long is a slap in the face.
I don't have the "resources" to buy Roo's but the Hueys I've collected over the months of playing this game serve as reinforcements during events I'm interested in. I do not use them for any other purposes. The two Cloudliners however are my main planes. Flying a straight route from New York -> Istanbul -> Beijing with Los Angeles as collateral. My logic makes no sense...
I struggled much with that bug during the summer! I was one that had to reset all achievements and do them all over again because of some that were bugged. I'm thinking they are all fixed by now? I did not notice bux job uneven distribution...more seems to depend on number of airports open than proximity.
World event - Concorde part Well, I've passed the mark to get a Concorde part (plan to keep playing) and was wondering if anyone had intentions to trade for Concorde parts? Does this happen often or is the idea of trading the Concorde part away seem insane for most people? If no one is interested in trading for their part, I would be willing to trade mine for some agreed upon deal. I would like to have the whole plane, but if I can't I wouldn't mind trading for an aircraft I can use or want rather than stare at a part for a year. What is everyone's opinion on this?
The future of Pocket Planes It would seem to me that the best thing Nimblebit could do to keep the senior players would be to add a slew of new collectibles planes and expand the map in Africa, Northern Asia, and Africa. Additionally some more Class 3 airports in certain areas and maybe even a Class IV airport maybe? Otherwise the best they could hope for is to replace the long term players with new players faster than they lose them. It is obvious that this is on the horizon, I can smell the boredom in the forums from people who have been playing a long time.....LOL. Does anyone have insight into Nimblebit's plans for the future?
Nice to look at a fully named TA1 leaderboard And many new players that were not here at the beginning. I'm glad we launched TouchArcade1 a few months ago, not sure I would still play PP if not!
If this is the first Concorde event, I'm gonna miss out because even though I have the money to open in Paris, I'd have to buy another C2 airport, just to make sure all planes can reach it from the US.
