Man, this is really crashtacular for me today. It finally loaded after a couple tries after I restarted the ol' iPad. Hopefully I'll actually be able to complete the ol' KK today! Merry Christmas all!

I know this isnt the right thread but what the heck, its Christmas! So I have a proposition.

    I'm offering 4 Aeroeagle-M's, 3 Hot Air Balloons, 4 Blimps, several Huey's and SK's.

You can have any amount of these planes for the price of just ONE Concorde. (Its a stretch I know but I think "SantaBit" has put me in the naughtly list for bring lazy so I probably wont get one.)

    Offer expires blah, blah, blah.

    Happy Holidays!!!

    Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Just popped in for a few seconds to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! I'm still on vacation and traveling with family so haven't had time to stop by or put much effort into the Chicago Global Event. My airlines is on reduced Holiday Schedule, I have hangared a bunch of planes and have 17 empty plane slots, this is all I can manage during the next 2 weeks. The next 3 or 4 events will prolly not receive my usual attention. :(
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day ... and Happy Flying !!! :D

    Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, all!
Thank you Nimblebit for today's random gift, which was fittingly a full Kringle Kruiser.

Santa put a Mac Mini under the tree last night. I had told the kids this year I was only getting them a single "small gift". Big upgrade from our 2006 old computer :D

So, like Slightlynorth I can finally purchase Mapple X10's. If you are already a friend on GameCenter and don't have a Mapple, let me know and I'll shop ya one and sent it to you.

@Fullquiver - what plane were you looking for and do you still need one? As a fellow adoptive parent I would like to send you some Christmas Cheer via GC ;)

I've got 28 planes going and the vast majority are mixed loading planes. I've always found them easier and quicker to fill. That said from time to time you need a specialist people only or cargo only plane so always try to make sure you've got at least one if each. Obviously all of this is budget dependent, but I would concentrate on mixed class 3 planes you can always do as I have and hold back some class 2 people and cargo lifters. I don't know whether that would work for everyone but it serves me well enough.

That's what I was thinking...like, a cargo plane would be for events where there are no passengers and vice versa. I currently have 1 Mixed Sequoia going from NY to London so I guess I have to either save up for my 12th slot or just wait til the next event and/or remove some planes from service now.

The sequoias really are brilliant planes. I've got those and and cyclones flying la to Tokyo and the sequoias do the job just as well and they're much cheaper to fly, if you're not in a desperate hurry, as obviously they're slower. Still unless you get carried away or feel weighed down with game bux stick with sequoias. I don't know what airports you have but i would consider stretching your route, you'll bring in more coins that way

I have Chicago, NY & London. I don't have enough coins, bux or slots to do much else right now. I'm not familiar with Cyclones...

In PP I received a Anan-P from Nimblebit, as well as 5 bux for my TT today. I haven't seen anything come through in Pocket Frogs for several days now though :(

For the longest time I favored just P and C planes. I felt like I was the only one because most people seem to love M planes. Mostly I didn't like having an uneven split, and I just find P and C's easier to load (although since the addition of load-all/unload-all in 1.0.4, M's are a lot easier to load now. I've only recently learned to love the Sequoia and Cyclone M's, especially since the split is even. It all comes down to personal preference. Another factor is an M plane can take both kinds of Cargo, where you need to utilize two slots if you have separate P and C planes to cover the same city.
