Thanks! First "real" attempt at an event, thought a class 1 would be my only chance. That was quite fun, and somewhat exhausting. Coastcat - you kept me pushing hard today, making a real run up the board. There was just no catching Faye and the top guys - well played all. Hoping now for a Kringle Cruiser event... (edit: er... a Bearclaw??? Gah!)
Holler when you figure it out because I don't see it in my TA app either. I'm busy getting ready to start my vacation at the end of this week so am sorta glad nothing exciting popped up for this new Global Event.
Ugh. So rather than the sleigh being the reward on the 23rd, so people could fly it on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, it will now be in the next event and be the reward on the day after Christmas? Not terribly smart.
Think i'm going to take the plunge and just concentrate on the event and just disown my route completely!
Attaching kringle kruiser pic The iPad 2 toucharcade app doesn't have the "attach an attachment" grey text link. So I'm doing it the hard way - take screen shot on iPad - connect to PC and copy pic to PC desktop - posting on PC now ("manage attachment" opens a pop-up window that allows you to attach multiple pics..... Where did I get the kringle kruiser? from my iPhone PP. I just rmb that I have PP on iPhone and I should log in to get random gifts (even if it's some plane parts or bux). And what do i get ? a kringle kruiser. And my iPad PP (where GC CastlePage is) has some lousy Anan part. Go figure
So, which genius at Nimblebit decided *not* to give us Kringle Kruisers the day before Christmas Eve, rather than - presumably - Boxing Day?
I like Nimblebit's sense of humour on this event -- some outgoing cargo from the "Computer Failure" in Geraldton are "Touch Arcades".
So I take it android players are excluded from these gifts? I didn't even receive a starship part for the last event. I suppose it's time to park the planes and move on :-(
Don't concentrate on it too much that we end up winning the event!!! Presume that the Kringle will be a full plane so should be able to get one way before Christmas if the mystery parts are kind.
Well, perhaps the event starting at 0800 UTC on 23 December will not be the typical 3½ day event. Recall that we had a 24 hour global event in Philadelphia back on July 4. (And at the other extreme, we had a week-long London Olympic event.) Perhaps they're planning a shorter event next so that we do get our Kringle Kruisers to fly on Christmas Eve.
This really is a bit blatant from Nimblebit, why don't they just ban the touch arcade crew and have done with it. It really seems like a time to go for it and get the job count as high as possible. I'm sure like me nobody wants that prize but Nimblebit need to learn that no matter how much the prize sucks the TA crew will still get the job done and roll in first.
