I'm sure I will not stay above you in the leaderboard for long <chuckle>. What level do you see seaknights come up in the market? I'm actually getting more addicted to TA1 and the people than PP, and that is saying a lot.
Hey CP, I dealt Blimp parts with our buddy Merlionine, for which he'll send you and Faye one Mapple each tomorrow He's still looking for blimp parts so Pm him for more. Let's keep TA1 in the second place! I have fully upgraded all my class 1 planes used when needed for events (10 Sea knights, 4 Mapples, P and C Roos) I traded parts for Mapples for a few weeks, so I added 5 Mapples more for the new event. But this time max upgraded only speed and range, not the cost. A fully maxed Mapples takes 33 min round trip from Ny to iqaluit (lol what a name) When empty after dropping there, you can boost the 16minutes trip left for 1 bux. I prefer SK for short trips (love the sound) but Mapples is the way to go for Iqaluit. I got 9 Mapples in the air now I hangared all my Sequoias M, only using Cyclones M now, even for the Bux sitter (no upgrades at all for them). So 16 Cyc M for the usual business and 10 for Bux sitting. I'm still figuring out if it's worthy to upgrade their speed at one point as coins are totally useless now. I also added Cairo to my basis setup and paired it with Istanbul. So now : LA-Ny Sao-Rio Paris,-London Istanbul-Cairo Shangai-Seoul
Seriously green with Jealousy Vic, What do you have to trade to get Mapples? (Slapping arm) Man, I need some Mapples..... I have to have them, it's an addiction man. Do you have a bag of Mapples (holds out a roll of money)? Is there a 12 step program for this game?
Seaknights are "rare" planes that don't appear in the market they are only made available through global events as prizes, or you could trade for them.
Sorry for the slack reply guys! Was out drinking last night and much of today has been a write off as a result I reached lvl 23 just before I stopped playing before going out which was nice! Looking forward to a nice slow paced event now. Class 2 events are a bit hectic! Dedicating 4 planes to this one to see how it goes.

LOL how many planes do you have going for iqaluit? I'm flying hard to keep catch up with Nimblewiki (I assume it's Nimblewiki at #3). Nimblewiki is 650 jobs ahead of TA1 !!! Hi-5 Fullquiver+1. I'm playing PP because of TA1 people and this forum and our little TA1 competitions (we had a bux competition sometime ago ... 44,500 bux race to exchange for 1billion coins. Once in a while, we also have guess the planes/cities that we have competitions.) We kept vigil with coastcat when she went through the hurricane Sandy. We send plane parts when friends lost their PP and had to start from lvl 1 again. Without TA1 ppl and forum, I'll probably treat PP the same way I treat Tiny Tower ... download the latest update as it comes out, but I hardly send a couple of ppl up the elevator. I'm flying hard to put in my bit to close the gap between TA1 and Nimblewiki. (Waiting for America and Europe members to wake up). Aside: i want to make a rant about PP. I don't like the "sticking" when I scroll down the job list. Sometimes, sticking unfreeze, I'll find that I had unwittingly loaded all jobs of a certain city when I was actually trying to scroll. A couple of times, my actions were too fast and I wound that I had unloaded my entire plane of bux jobs and had exited from job list screen, ending up with my bux jobs lost
A Starship part? Meh. But I'm going to run this event anyway since work should be relatively low-stress for the next few days. The client only wanted some minor changes to our first draft and I got all those done Friday morning. Iqaluit isn't quite as remote as I would like, but it will do nicely!
Speaking of Mapple dealing, I need to get a couple more. Offering Aeroeagles for them. Anyways, someone's beating us by 1000 jobs. That's not good.
Sorry folks, I have sat the last few events out. I didn't want anymore Hueys, and rearranging my setup for 25 bux, or a supergopher, is a little too much of a pain. I did just make the transition from Sequoia Ms to Cyclone Ms (still down 4 Cyclones, but I ran outta bux to buy them) as well as rearranged my setup to go from Honolulu to Mexico City where it splits to Chicago and Lima, on to Paris and Lagos, meets back up at Delhi, and splits to Tokyo and Jakarta and onto Sydney from Jakarta. Figured that leaves me covering almost the entire globe and within reach of almost any event that pops up. Anyhow, just checking in! Welcome to all the new folks!
I was going to exchange 5 or 6000 of my 7K bux to come up with enough coins to expand from 21 slots to 25. But then I got scared and chickened out. Somebody, convince me that I'm doing the right thing!
Always a tough one with bux but you have to do it at some point otherwise you could just build them up forever!
Hello guys and gals, I need some suggestions... As you can see I am at 70,000 BUX and I already have 42 plane slots. If you were in my position... What would you do??? I am willing to trade in at the most 45,000 Buxs. Thank you in advance for all your help. Cheers and Happy Flying!!!
Hey, did I miss something about how achievement progress is displayed in the game? My secondary player is ready to start going after the achievements and since I was already in Asia I decided to start with the Tiksi 100-job one. After delivering several planeloads I checked into Awards->Achievements to see my progress - and the Achievement screen doesn't show your progress anymore? I also can't tell how close I am to the 10k cargo achievement or any of the other cumulative ones. All I see are airplane icons for the completed ones and question marks for the rest. I want to switch that account over to the global event but don't want to stop Tiksi... assuming the jobs are even counting? This is on the Mac version - my iPhone game finished those achievements ages ago.
Go for it, bux collection is easy and having more planes is fun Theres not really much left for you to do than to make personal goals, collect 100k bux or get to 50,60,70, etc plane slots. Trading in 45k you still have 25k to spend on future content if they add something interresting and worthwhile. And again, building your bux back up shouldn't be a problem unless they re-do the whole way bux is gathered, wich they wont. Personally I would save up to 100k, then trade in atleast 80k and go bananas on plane slots
Do it, keep less than 1000 bux to buy and upgrade new planes. Bux collecting will be easier and faster with 25/30 planes. I did 1k, 5k, and 25k exchanges. Look below where I am now! Keep enough coins to upgrade all your class 3 airports too. And keep us in the loop, I'll send you a class 3 plane to celebrate it Funny, I'm thinking I might do the same soon if there's an interesting event. 42 slots too. Got used to it now. Trading in at least 45k, I could get to 52 slots. I need an in game motivation though, a full new plane event in a far and exotic place might do the trick Edit : playing with Bux calcs on our spreadsheet. 40k exchange, I woulg get to 51 slots 43k, 52 46k , 53 49k, 54 53k, 55 ... 100k, 67 lol I might settle at 49k for 54 slots. So I'll need at least 51k leaving enough Bux to buy and upgrade planes.
Has anyone seen any mystery parts at this event? I got a couple at the last event but haven't receive any yet in this one.
Hi guys! Have been reading this forum for a while but only just decided to create an account and get involved. I am currently a member of the nimblewiki flight crew. It's alright because we normally do ok, but there's no way I can communicate with any of the other players. For this reason, I might join TA1. I am level 19 with one aero eagle, 2 pear jets, 4 birchcraft, 2 Anna's. 2 kangaroos, an airvan and a Huey. I use the aero eagle and pearjets for long haul flights from Boston-Madrid-Cairo-Dhaka. Anyone got any tips on how to improve, I see some of you guys making shed loads of bucks and coins, and delivering thousands of event jobs. How? Haha!
Hi Ina, exchange 6k+ bux for coins. Vic is right. I was too scared too, then I expanded my plane slots, and it's much easier to collect bux when you have enough planes. And when you have a lot of coins such that you don't have to worry about them, it's also a lot easier to play. Personally, I have a more or less fixed layout of cities that covers most of the globe so that I can quite easily access the global event airports that come out (especially those class 1 ones). I upgrade all these airports to the max. LOL hi mxboyles. Come over to TA1. You can add us to your GC (see the link in my signature, and check out how we're doing for each event). Then you can see who's who on the leaderboard. BTW you know that if you change flight crew, your global event job count resets and you have to start from zero.
