Hey everyone! Just wanted to say to everyone that's posted the bux farming method a big thank you, cos now that I've got like 10 Sequoias from Mapple trading since I have a mac, I've been able to use that technique and upgrade all my planes and open up a lot more slots. Even with all that spending, I'm already at 150 bux, my new record (I spend all the time...)! Thank you!
Is there a list of what planes cost? I am at slot 30 and want to know when to stop collecting bux so I can add at least 10 more slots Thanks Gus172
Just google that and you'l find a Nimblwiki or Jayisgames (can't remember) page that will tell you exactly that.
Ah, didn't notice that. Ok then I guess that the rare ppl that have actually gotten to more than 30 slots have not taken the time to write down the costs...
There is a formula near the top which can be used to calculate slots 31+ http://pocketplaneswiki.com/Earning_Planes
I approve of the fact the new event starts when I come home from school. Anyways, hopefully it'll be a plane event and not another bux event. Does anyone else have their graph peak on a Sunday and fall by a lot on Monday? That's my graph in a nutshell.
As promised. Cashed in at $29,000 bux. Here are the plane slots not listed. I will make a complete list of the earlied ones tomorrow as a refrence for all. Now to get my bux going again. Slot 31 - $13,314,525 Slot 32 - $15,395,900 Slot 33 - $17,712,525 Slot 34 - $20,281,500 Slot 35 - $23,120,525 Slot 36 - $26,247,900 Slot 37 - $29,682,525 Slot 38 - $33,443,900 Slot 39 - $37,552,125 Slot 40 - $42,027,900 Slot 41 - $46,892,525 Slot 42 - $52,167,900 Slot 43 - $57,876,525
Yay! But .... Oh no, now you're glnna leapfrog over me on the Leaderboard. So ... Does anybody think, while quickly scrolling thru jobs, think that those yellow Rare Statues going to Hobart are Mystery Parts?
Earnings (but not graph) related, I know that for an event in a class 2 city, the earnings of my Sequoias plummets, while the earnings of my Aeroeagles skyrockets. Replace Aeroeagles with Mapples/Mohawks for a class 1 event.
The price of success Here's the rest. Anybody considers going to more than 100 slots, Just let me know. I'll call a psychiatrist. lol I guess I'll stop at #84 that cost an astonishing billion coins! When I'll have time and a working latop again, I'll make a spreadsheet saying how many Bux you need to exchange to get all slots up to x slot Dammit, I hadn't time to play in the last few days, I still have a lots of Australia layovers all around... Been so happy spending hours on my laptop with Bios and Dos commands to try making it work again
I've already done that. (That's where the numbers came from.) You key in the number of slots you already have and it gives you the cumulative cost of the next x slots. There's a third column that tells you how many you can afford with your current number of bux, and with a target number of bux (exchanged into coins, of course). I've been wondering how to stick that into the TA1 spreadsheet so everybody can use it but haven't gotten around to figuring it out. Anybody knows, just tell me. Cheers, M.
Fleet dreams With help of some advanced bux calculus (buxematics?) I think I've figured out my next goal. I've been flying 30 slots for a while. Almost always all filled. So one direction to go from here is to create regional airlines. North and South Americas, Europe, Africa, couple of Asias, ANZ, 7 or 8 in total. A global airline of Cyclones and Sequoias to connect the Class 3 airports in them. And 7 or 8 regional airlines, consisting of a swarm of Aeroeagles and Mapples in each. I'm thinking around 80 airports, a score of Class 3 planes, and one Class 1 and/or 2 for each of the rest. Now you can play the global airline game whenever you want with your 20 airliners. Or any of 7 or 8 regional games with your regional jets and them apples. Sorry, typo: the Mapples. Whatever you feel like. Or give up the game altogether because why the Hell are you still doing this anyway? Anyway, going to 100 from 30 sets you back the grand sum of 41,776,835,275 coins. Exchanging 288,888 bux in one go gets you 41,872,582,272 coins. That's 100 slots plus 80-odd million coins in walking around money. So I'm thinking of setting myself a target of 288,888 bux (maybe I'm a bit Chinese in my choice of numbers). Not sure yet, because it's kind of daunting, the road is long and winding and there will be lots of temptations along the way. Not to mention the psychiatrist. Any takers? Cheers, M.
click "go to spreadsheet view" on the top of the TA1 spreadsheet and you can put the formula into one of the empty columns!
Nice! I wouldn't do that, but I could see having a class 1 and class 2 events fleet, each with a dozen planes for all situations. The thing is, I would have no problem filling 60 slots, I just wouldn't/couldn't use them all at once. Out of my 41 slots, I got about a dozen that I use for getting specific planes for events out of then back to the hangar. It just costs Bux. How many bux needed for 50 and 60 slots?
Done. Created a separate tab called 'Bux calcs.' Had to do formulas and layout all over because apparently you can't copy&paste from Excel into Google Docs. Damn you, Google... Anyway, there are three input cells where you can key in your current number of bux, your life's dream, and the number of slots you are currently using. All the rest follows SO KEEP OFF THE OTHER CELLS. (Couldn't find a way to protect cells other than the whole spreadsheet so if anyone knows how, please feel free.) Same here. I'm not even using all of my 30 slots all at once, let alone 60 or 100. Going to larger numbers means you have to give yourself an excuse to use certain subsets every time you open the game. I guess... Re your question, that depends on the number of slots you have now so have fun with the TA1 spreadsheet! (See 'Bux calcs' tab.) Key in your slots, current bux, and dream number of bux and Bob's your uncle. Cheers, M.
