So does anyone really know how the flight crew prizes actually work? I participated with only 20 jobs in Calgery since I didn't find about the game until yesterday. I thought that the minimum jobs requirement to get a price is 5 as mentioned in this thread but I didn't get anything. Also isn't t the P40 Warhawk a bit lousy for us to move all our airports to Australia? It is fast but the range is bad and only 1P and it is a class 1 plane? I feel like I am missing something so anyone care to explain?
1, everyone seems to agree its 5 or 10 jobs. Both easy to do for the reward. There's a delay in everyone getting it, give it a little time. 2, i suspect several of those aircraft in the airpedia arent obtainable outside of events. the warhawk is probably one of them.
You should still get your reward. Bluespacecow was like rank 1,300 in the crew and still got it. It just doesn't go to everyone all at the same time. Edit: gotta learn to type faster As for the P-40, yeah it's sort of a novelty, but I am guessing it and other oddball things (zeppelin, starship, huey, etc.) will be available only as rewards, so it will be rare. And I want one
Woo 100bux - and what did i tell you all-they wud do a crappy prize the 2nd time, dont think ill bother with Brisbane for a naff plane lol
I'm happy about Brisbane - since I started out in Australia. Hooray for being a whole lot more useful this time!! (100 bux was very welcome and I'd like to get the plane too - though I wonder if it would cause problems if someone is already maxed with their available plane slots...)
I just got the tower bux when i looked at the flight crew. Slowly extending my route from Japan to down under for the event. Dang i have a lot of class 2 planes. Seems like I need to upgrade the airport for them.
You can't upgrade a level 1 airport to support level 2 planes. They can only land at cities with blue or red dots.
Your not limited in regards to how many aircraft you own, your only limited by how many you can have out at one time.
No, I know that - I was referring more to the fact that building an airplane out of parts forces you to have an available slot, rather than adding it to your hangar, like I'd prefer.
Yeah, but it's a good point. If they stick it in your hanger, it will take but to deploy (which would be fine, but isn't as much of a pure reward). Anyway, I figure they would either stick it in your hanger or give you all the parts and maybe the bux to build (or maybe as a specialty craft it will be free to build).
IIRC I was up to between 13 - 15 jobs. Someone posted that the devs said in some forum thread (which I can't find atm) that there was a minimum of 5 jobs to be logged in order to get the prize. Can't find a source on that as yet tho.
