Somehow last night I created a big mess. I started to collect bux and shuttle them around a bit. Ended up losing track of my fleet. Woke up to half of them in Europe. This should take a bit for them to find their way back to Boston. Whoops.
I've been MIA. How do I find out my total number of jobs from the previous event? I know my rank (21), but not the jobs. On another note, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
When I get to level 28 should I invest in Cloudliners or keep buying Sequioas? Want to get people's opinion before I invest too many BUX.
There's no way to know the number of jobs done for the previous event :/ unless you check the leaderboards right before the event ends.
Sorry for posting in separate posts. I'm using the TA app and it doesn't have the multi-quote function. Anyway, sequoias are much better, due to a couple of reasons: 1) slower planes, hence more profit made per flight, and it's suitable for people who don't check in every 5 minutes and only play for a while every day. 2) even P/C ratio for the M planes, compared to the uneven ratio in cloudliners. This way, you won't find yourself in the situation where you have excess cargo layovers. 3) and the 17 spots on the cloudliner might be pretty hard to fill up and you'd have to wait for possibly 2-4 job refreshes. Unless you plan on using them at your hubs where layovers are plenty. If you want speed, use cyclones instead of sequoias. A few high flyers (pun intended ) are beginning to switch to cyclones for the faster speed, because they are chasing bux and coins (aka cost of flight) don't matter anymore. So basically it's how you play that determines what kind of planes to use
It's good to have some more competition. I'm just really starting to get started on this event, so hopefully I can help close the gap. Hopefully I'll come across more mystery parts. Having a hard go at it right now, have only found 3 so far.
Although being a freemium game, it has quite a lot of ways to earn bux. But still, I'd rather pay five bucks for this game than get it free. Freemium is crappy, but nimblebit makes an exception
I'm having a rough time with Mystery Parts this time as well. I usually find the 1 part ~100 jobs holds true but this time I'm 2800 jobs in and only have 13 mystery parts so far.
noob question, this means what exactly? and also with the Boston event, do i want to from Boston or take people to Boston.
You need to bring jobs TO Boston. To "layover" a job is to bring a job from one city to another, but not its final destination. I'm bringing jobs to Boston from various cities using class 3 planes, dropping them all off in New York. There, they are known as layovers. NY, being a class 3 city, can hold a maximum of 60 layovers when the airport is fully upgraded. From there, I'm using class 2 planes to transport the "layovers" to Boston. Hope that makes sense!
I believe so. I'm at a low level 7 so I don't think layovers will beneit me just yet. So I can pick up peeps drop them off close to there destination then have a big passenger plane and hull like 5 people to the same place. I think.
Just to clarify, for this event (as well as most, but not all, global events) both people and cargo count.
