I got a random pop up ad too when I hit "fly"! Also, my iOS version has been constantly freezing when I scroll through jobs or move around the map. So much so that I've just given up even trying to play it on my phone. : (
Guessing Game Can anybody guess my fleet, and you can win a Cloudliner-M part. There are 13 planes in my fleet and there is a total of 110 slots in the air, can anybody guess my fleet?
Yep I got an ad about 20 minutes ago that froze PP completely... had to shut down PP and re-start it!
I'm running 1.0.4 and have not seen the full screen popup ads yet. Just the small one you get once in a while at app start up.
Glad I am not the only one....Is this Nimblebit doing these adds or not? Also when I was sending Sea Kinght parts I noticed one of the "friends" to gift it to was BLANK...Anyone else have one of these??? Thanks in advance for all your help!!!!
The small ads weren't invasive and I didn't mind them - the one rebartsch and I got earlier today was REALLY "in your face"...
I also have the new adds, they are quite annoying tbh, and they seem to cause the game to freeze even more than before... I'm running on a 3gs tho, so that may be a factor perhaps?
Sorry if this has been asked before.... Is there anyway to turn off the Drop Down Notifications when there are new jobs or when a plane lands? Cheers and thanks in advance for your help!
For Snowbird and anyone else losing stats for cargo delivered to airports, NimbleBit have found the problem. From NimbleBit Support: "The programmer was able to figure it out and get this bug fixed for the next update. Turns out, it only happens if the game reloads from the database, which is why it's happening inconsistently. Turns out the cargo is setting itself to the value for passengers out of a city." Bring on the update.
You have 13 planes with 8.46 passengers per plane. I'm guessing you have the elusive Aero 8.46 which would be the only plane you could have 13 of to get that number. Tricky question! I'm glad I could help!!
Nice! I was keeping track in this event because i was using 6 mohawks so it is easier to keep track of the number of passengers and cargo going to timbuktu and realised that the numbers kept jumping around.
Nope there isn't a way to turn them off permanently, but you can press the small x on the top right to close it immediately.
Thanks for all the tips given, I have did a few streamlines to my game... Basically cut down quite a few level 2 airports... And some level 3 airports that are not on the "main routes" e.g. Jakarta, shengyang. Also using the twin lvl 3 airports close to each other e.g. Rio and Sao Paulo to ferry bux... Current stats 16/11/12 Current level: 32 Airports: 36 of 69 (cutdown 17, and thinking of cutting a few more) Class 1 airports: 3 Class 2 airports: 8 Class 3 airports: 25 Planes slot opened: 21 Class 1 planes (10): 6 sea knights, 2 mapples pro, 1 blimp and 1 Huey Class 2 planes (5): 3 Aeroeagle m, 1 aeroeagle p, 1 aeroeagle c Class 3 planes (6): 1 fogbuster m, 2 sequoia m, 1 tetra m, 1 cyclone m, and 1 cloudliner m (trying to get free sequoia m sets so if anyone wants to donate feel free ) Bux exchanged for coins previously: 500 bux, 1,000 bux, 2,000 bux, and 3,000 bux Current bux: 3,362 (thinking of exchanging only at 5,000 mark) Current coins: 2,282,195 Cheers ruffyvanman
Actually, that's not true. You just go in your device's settings, go in "notifications" and turn off the Pocket Planes notifications.
