wow, sdo62 played non stop and shot up to 2nd place with 5700 jobs, coming from low 2000 yesterday, behind the untouchable nokitano at 7000. Nice effort of Northdude, Faye and me in the 5000 sthg job count! Big battle in the 2000 range behind between castlepge, geenpaper, teodor, pondusfm and I can see Boomerkid creeping up now. TA1 firm second with 6500 jobs more than Nimblewiki now for the better class 3 planes, I'd say stick with the Sequoias first, when you're still in need of coins to buy plane slots and airports. Sequoias are the best all around plane for class 3, as are Aeroeagles for class 2 and Kangaroos for class 1. They can fit any strategy. these are the planes you will always use, so it's no waste to upgrade them. I'd skip Cloudliners, they're too big for the 60 max layovers, and the M one has not an equal P/C split. You may pass the fogbusters (range is too low) and Tetras too. You may have a few of these, but if you plan to play in the longer term, Sequoias and Cyclones are the way to go. Cyclones are the best fast planes, loading 12. But to use them, you need to either play very frequently, or don't care about coins anymore because speed doesn't matter if you play once or twice a day. I'm now shifting my sequoias fleet to Cyclone Ms, but I'm level 51 and don't need any more coins. I want the speed for the events. And I still use Sequoias for Bux transport. Cloudliners may have a utility for storage too I guess.
Yep, had a quiet day today IRL - supposed to be resting and watching the Australia v South Africa test cricket on TV but it was rained out, so spent the day flying planes Hopefully TA1 is safe in second spot now and I can take it easy tomorrow.

That's a great post. greenpaper and I are actually working more to ensure a safe margin between TA1 and nimblewiki than any internal competition sdo62 did her tornado race to the top. There's a HUGE difference between me at #6 and #5. Before my nap, sdo62 was at a safe margin before me (at least 1k job difference). After my nap (now), she's at #2 and Faye at #5 has double my job. Greenpaper, would you like to overtake me and give Faye a run for her money? Vic, out of curiosity, do you keep all 41 slots used? Do you have a blimp or hot air balloon floating around making many days trip?
The problem with this setup (no LA, no EA) is you won't have Bux jobs over 4/5 Bux. it's clear to me now that the best hub in the center of the map is... Istanbul! With a fully range upgraded Sequoia, you can make it to Rio in SA, and Seoul/Shangai... in EA With an upgraded Cyclone, you can make one hop to NY, and Sao Paulo I won't bother with Tokyo anymore, as it needs hopping in another airport. I guess if you kill LA, you could close NY. And close Paris/London. So a strategy for massive and easy Bux collecting with: -a minimal five class 3 airports setup - still high paying Bux jobs - and 2 clusters needed for Bux hoarding at the end points, would be : Rio/Sao Paulo <> Istanbul <> Seoul/Shanghai With 2 Sequoias M sitting in Rio/Sao dedicated to collect Bux jobs. As soon as one is P or C full you make the switch and unload the bux layovers. Rinse, repeat at each jobs refresh. The same in Seoul/Shanghai. And Cyclone Ms or Sequoias M doing the Atlantic crossover via Istanbul. No layovers except for the bux jobs, and you send only full bonus planes. If you use Cyclones, you could add LA and NY to this setup. And maybe there's another class 3 airport in the center of the map that can achieve that instead of Istanbul (Cairo?,Tehran?) Problem being if Istanbul is closed, you turn off PP! What do you guys think? EDIT : checked with the rusty snowman tool, you can either useCairo or Istanbul.

Well Ladies and Gents, I am at 44,886 Buxs and as I feared...I have no interest in trading them in for a Billion coins. So I have decided to shoot for 60,000 Buxs and see how I feel then. Happy Flying All!!!!
Hey I have been away for a couple of weeks, but I am gradually getting back to 2 jobs a day, and am not that far off level 32 now, then I will add Perm, and St Petersburg, but I have to agree a few extras would make it much more rewarding, eg mini games, clearing up litter at each airport, sorting luggage out, having stewardesses or stewards on each aircraft, so that the passengers can be entertained on the flight, or be served food, or drinks, or order duty free. And I agree there should be bigger planes, and grade 4, and 5 cities, as there are so many cities that I can think of that have airports that are not on this game yet. And I also agree there should be a different setting for each city. If we are all just a bit patient all these amazing things may just happen in an update, possibly either before christmas, or early next year.
You probably have a huge fleet of 32 planes. To afford that many you probably run for bux profits. I guess you have 24 sequoias, half p half c. And 8 aeroeagles probably all m class. 240 slots from the seq and 48 from the aeros.
Interresting quess, but it's kind of far off ;-) This is not a bad guess either, but no cigar yet. You can guess more than once, maybe I should up the ante and give a prize for each of the questions asked corrctly..
You said you wanted to have 20 slots, so you have maximum 19 planes... That was the only way to have 288 air slots Edit: Oh, I misread what you said, probably because English is not my native language Edit 2: 28 planes, 20 sequoias M, 2 cloudliner P, 2 cloudliner C and 5 kangaroos M for layovers
