After thinking long and hard on this... I've decided to convert my P's to M's... Getting rid of them today. And Sandy is really bearing down on you guys on the East. I live in the south so I know what it's like.
Some parts of the DC area were hit pretty badly. My little corner came through relatively well. Except for a couple houses that lost power due to a fallen tree limb, my whole neighborhood did not lose electricity despite the powerful winds. Our feral cats came by for breakfast, so happy that they made it through okay as well. Now, back to San Diego! My storm-inspired absence dropped me down to #32, but there's lots of time to claw my way back up the leaderboard...
Good to see you back Impressive footage of Sandy in NY, Atlantic City... I have a friend in NY, she stayed home with her 3 young kids during the storm. She posted on FB that the tornado was inside as well as outside lol
I wish there was a way to cycle through the airports the same way you can do with planes. Or is that a feature of the update that I didn't know about? (Haven't updated yet for fear of all the stories about lagging.) Ahh, the Mohawks are camping out. Makes tactical sense to me now!

Did they change the end time for this event? I thought events ended Wednesday afternoon and Saturday night here in the US. This one looks like it is ending Wednesday night.
I think it just ties in with the end of Halloween? I managed to do 1000 jobs today, quite fun since I've only just turned lvl 16
I had off yesterday due to Sandy, so I got a chance to do some grinding, worked up to #14 with 1,806 jobs. I noticed it was delaying quite a bit more than usual, it would update seemed like every hour or so and I'd have a 100 job jump. But top 10 at 2,237 right now, I don't think I'll be able to crack it this time around (stupid job getting in the way ). This is also the most mystery parts I've ever gotten, and mainly just off of normal trips, not really searching too hard. 8 bodies, 9 controls and 6 engines. I like leaving them there and loading up for a full trip.
My leaderboard is blank! Nobody above or below my own name. After it sat on that page for a while, I was prompted to sign on to Game Center. So I went to GC and now it is sitting there with the spinning circle. I feel so disconnected from the rest of you.... It is so GOOD to hear from you and know you are OK. I've seen photos of the devastation and it is unbelievable, so much water, so much damage. I'm glad you are safe. Thank you so much for that tip! It sounds so obvious, I will give it a try next time I accidentally delete my layover.
Weird, same is happening to me. But it was just working under an hour ago. That's what it used to feel like at the bottom of TAO.
Yeah I was also having problems with Game Center around 12pm PST; I couldn't see any of you guys... Seems to be resolved now! Edit: Hmm seems to be wonky again... (~3pm PST)

Hi all, I've managed to come finished two of the deadlines. One more overdue to go, another on Friday. Glad to see coastcat and Faye back. Jiayou all I hardly played PP yesterday (only had time to play a while before I sleep). Today is another long long day, so I'm catching up with PP while eating lunch. I'm quite surprised that I'm on the Top 10. Reason being that most of the rest are taking time off too (I think). Current top 10 leaderboard: #1 9256 cybernator #2 5936 nokitano #3 5030 vic sark #4 3627 ME #5 3555 Boomerkidd #6 3090 Train 2000 #7 2853 Bluebear1123 #8 2691 sdo62 #9 2626 zekeamf #10 2625 jayorros Cybernator is the most active one on the Top 10. Whenever I had time to sneak a peek at PP leaderboard, he's always like double my number of jobs. Since yesterday, he started to triple my jobs. It's one thing to triple at 300 vs 900, It's another to triple at 3xxx vs 9xxx. I'm curious about two things: 1. How many mystery parts have u gotten ? 2. How do u keep 12 mapples fed? I have 1 mapple 4 mohawks and I have a hard time feeding them (2 min round trip LA san diego). I have sequoias flying in san diego jobs from NY and Mexico City all the time, occasionally from Lima and others (when I accumulate enough jobs in LA). Vic Sark arrived a couple of days ago with his entourage of 41 planes (I think of Darth Vader arriving, complete with the Darth Vader theme march) We bowed and stood to the side as he marched up the leaderboard. He has held court their ever since. Vic and Nokitano made sure that they keep their positions on the podium by staying a healthy margin from the rest of us. Boomerkidd and I play leap frog a lot. Of course I hopped over her before making this post I fully expect her to leap over me soon. Train, bluebear, sdo62 and jayorros the first ppls to make it up to Top10 are taking a rest of babysitting PP. Zekeamf was a late arrival yesterday, and he/she is slowly moving up up.
