Is there a specific strategy to getting the "This is Bananas" achievement? 20,000 in profit seems impossible. Is there a certain plane/route that works? EDIT never mind!

I'm not liking the San Diego event. I don't mind that it is a class 1 city event, but I really hate how close San Diego is to Los Angeles. There's too much babysitting involved. It was the same when they did San Diego back in July, it was too much babysitting. I remember coming in 4th in that event, chasing after Pocketplanesgod (#3), who doesn't seem to play PP anymore. On the upside, I have found a few mystery parts and can finally build 1 hot air balloon. TA1 is ranked #2 after TAO. I wish I could see who is ranked 11-20 on the Leaderboard. :-/ Hope it doesn't hit you too hard. Stay safe!!!
Agreed on the babysitting - I did that over the weekend at the end of the last event and the beginning of this one but not going to keep doing it till the end of this event. I wish there was an in-app purchase to extend the refresh time to 15, 30 or even 60 minutes (with 3, 6 or 12 times the number of jobs as usual). I'm still hanging in at number 10 and the people I can see below me are: 11 843 - Igerera 12 756 - Bluebear1123 13 687 - Jayorros 14 685 - Roboroboto 15 637 - ???

Not very lucky in mystery parts though Using 1 Roo P and 8 Sea Knights. All San Diego layovers from around the world going to LA. I opened Mexico to do the Bux baby sitting strategy as in Ottawa: Whenever there are Bux jobs in LA and no class 3 planes to take them, I load them on a SK, fill it with San Diego jobs. Then go to mexico through San Diego et leave the Bux layover there. And the same from Mexico to LA.
Already got enough parts for four balloons! I should probably have more than just four class 1 planes working San Diego but I'm lazy and satisfied with what I'm eking out. Plus I like keeping one or two seq's in every city so it's simple to pick up any mystery parts and I can still stay full on layovers in LA. The only problem I'm having is the random crashes! It happens about once an hour, and every time it does, I lose 50-100 jobs because of the jobs counter glitch. I should be up to 1000 jobs by now but only sitting at 700. Aimin for the top ten tonight though! Good luck peoples.
All I have is a body. This game hates me. I think I'm gonna switch back over to an M only fleet like before... I just didn't like the design on the Aeroeagle-M. This is why I said NimbleBit should let us switch the pattern's on planes. An Aeroeagle-C pattern on an Aeroeagle-M.
I'm not 100% sure it isn't counting them. I took a break earlier and when I came back several hours later, my job count had shot up over 500 jobs So, it may be counting them, but it takes a LONG time. Oh well, life goes on either way. I am slowing down for the night, and since I'm working all this week, I probably won't be any real competition for you guys and gals......

I wish it was just super delayed counting my jobs, but they never do show up if I switch apps. Surely nimblebit will have that new update they mentioned together very soon.
