OH. May I steal your signature? I wanted to add in the google doc link to my signature. Vic is supporting Bluebear for a Kalgoorlie global event. I didn't know Donald Duck's nephews speak French (Not sure if it's French since I don't speak it.) I managed to coax a more recent update of the leaderboard (3 min left to go). Don't know how to transfer a screen capture to my PC (alas not Mac) so I'll type it: Global rank: #1 153,975 TA original #2 28,033 Jayisgames #3 26,465 Nimblewiki #4 24,134 TA1 (YAY !!! ) Top 10 leaderboard: #1 2930 nokitano #2 2350 vic sark #3 2133 train 2000 (with a space) #4 1845 roboroboto (who managed to hold sdo62 and I off) #5 1774 sdo62 (beat me fair and square with more than a 100 jobs. Well done ! ) #6 1655 ME (castlepage) #7 1506 coastcat #8 1229 rebartsch #9 1160 Faye #10 828 SlightlyNorth And ... I managed to clear all the zanzibar layovers from Kinshasa and can close the airport for once
Faye: how many bux did u spend moving your roos to san diego? I'm expecting sd062 to be at the top. Perfect babysitting city TA1, chiong ar !! (BoomerKidd please explain chiong. It's much more forceful than "let's go" or "forward, my men". Imagine the runners sprint off at top speed when they hear the gunshot signalling the start of a race. That's chiong.)
HOT AIR BALLOON!!!!! This means mystery parts!!!! San Diego is only 4 minutes round trip with Roos from LA so lots of jobs delivered quickly. Eta: just got a mystery part! Hot air balloon controls.
2 minutes round trip on Mapple/mohawk from LA. Mystery part here I come. I'm still deciding which planes to use and how many. Sent 8 jobs as test (to see the time duration). Then looked up the leaderboard to see that Train 2000 has sent 93 jobs, with 42 jobs from Bluebear. Faint. Edit: 1. the airports are too close. Very hard to click on both. 2. Long way to scroll to the bottom of the job list. I think I should hire sdo62 to help me babysit this event
Hot air balloon... Yawns... Oh well! Interesting thought, San Diego info button states that Nimblebit is based there, so it makes sense they would release a new plane in that city, call it a gift from them? Sure Castle you can use my signature, you might want to change the gc id though besides the rest of it really isn't mine. It belongs more to the crew and the individual who started the google doc. I'm going to bed, good luck TA1! I'll catch up with you all tomorrow if I get the chance.
Mystery parts yeah Won't have much time today, but it's gonna be legen -wait for it- dary! San Diego easy round trip. LA good for a lot of Bux on back trips NY and Chicago for intermediate layovers TA1 is already second, half TA jobs Cool
So what's the strategy now? Drop everything in LA? Maybe SF, Phoenix and Seattle? I'll try to get more than 170 jobs now (but for me this was a personal record, I know that some of you guys are now laughing, but hey, I'm only lvl 30. And I should really get some more plane slots, currently 17 ...
First Advertise San Diego ALL the time Then if you're chasing mystery parts, keep C or M planes in your big cities just waiting for them to appear and store them (1/100 odds) Send Sequoias, Cyclones, Aeros M from all over the world with San Diego jobs to LA Dispatch the SD layovers with Kangaroos , Sea Knights, Mapples Make round trips to LA, don't stop in SD, should take only 4 minutes. If you got too many layovers in LA, push the class 1 planes (it should cost only one BUx) Fly back your class 3 planes to your other cities, but gather every Bux jobs you can. VoilĂ !
you could get more than 2 hot air balloons with mystery parts for the previous full plane event (blimp) i think i hoarded more than 10 full blimps @castlepage, yes let's chiong
And a new team : TouchArcade1 with almost all the active forum members Come on, join us so TA has the 2 top crew spots !
Impressive, TA1 is 2nd (6000 jobs) with almost a third of TA's jobs (18000) and 2.5 times the 3rd crew (2500). Top 10 is whithout you US kiddos, we find us, you know, rest of the world european, asian, australian Castlepage 1st with 742 jobs 10th Jayorros 199
Yeah yeah, it is going to take me a while to restructure back to the US for this event. Most of my planes were over on the other side of the pond. I will be playing catchup here shortly though, don't worry
