Thanks, added him. Now I can see the name of the guy I'm trying to beat. Before TA1 was formed, my plan for this event was to do the minimum number of jobs. Didn't expect that I would end up trying to compete for a spot in the top 15! Can't wait to see what the next event is!
Should have flown by me already lol. I haven't had much time to put into this event. Maybe the next one will be worthwhile.

I haven't sent one job today, but I got a few chances to scan for bux jobs. I closed up Kinshasa Nairobi and Zanzibar so I won't be doing any last minute rush either. I'll set up my route for the next event tonight and maybe build up a few layovers for tomorrow. Since I know it is definitely going to be in Kalgoorlie, I'll go ahead and start buying the airports around there now
So we're still unsure how PP calculates jobs, eh? On my Zanzibar screen, it says: Flights: 235 Passengers: 165 Shipments: 12 Leaderboard it says I've done 348 jobs.
Yea I don't quite understand the airport statistics screen. My numbers never match up, but I have to keep in mind there is a bug with my job counter that NimbleBit is currently working on.
LOL, Bear. I vaguely recalled that one recent global event was somewhere near Kalgoorlie but couldn't remember which one. Had to google to find out that it's in Australia. I don't have any airport there. Opened Perth for the event and closed it after that. What airports do you maintain in Australia? On a side note, I've been monitoring #2 and #3 on global leaderboard. #2 is pulling away from #3 (or perhaps #3 had overtaken #2. Can't tell) Names is certainly more interesting as you can watch peoples' behavior. For example, I see sdo62 and coastcat tearing up the leaderboard. Faye is still quiet (Faye, are you feeling better? I'm sure the bday party that you planned will turn out great ) No wonder marketers spend tons of money finding out who we are and stalk and profile our behaviors. Edit: Snooping around out of kaypoh-ness (BoomerKidd please explain kaypoh) Edit: #3 is nimblewiki with 26036 jobs (#1 - 979jobs, #10 -258 jobs) Edit: #2 is jayisgames with 27407 jobs (#1 - 1317 jobs, #10 - 433 jobs) I think Jayisgames overtook nimblewiki. As a comparison: TA1: #4 with 23568 jobs (#1 - 2930 jobs, #10 - 828 jobs) TA original: #1 with 150,770 jobs (#1 - 2206 jobs, #10 - 653 jobs) Thanks to no password protection, I was able to snoop around using my iPhone PP to get the above info. I started a PP account on iPhone to stalk TA1. Wanted to send one job to find out how many people are there in TA1. But my iPhone PP is too poor to even open airports. 31K after 1 day of running, two cities. 5 planes including a bearclaw (yeah, single seater slowest bearclaw) and 2 mohawks sent from my iPad PP. The bearclaw remains because there isn't enough jobs generated by the two cities for bigger planes. LOL
The only airports I keep 24/7 are LA CHI MEXCITY NY London Paris Tehran Beijing Tokyo and Seoul. My money makers xP
Finally home after a busy day. Spent some time running around from store to store trying to get balloons for the party, would you believe none of the stores have helium?! There's apparently some sort of helium shortage. still feeling bleh, need to get some sleep. Not sure I can stay awake til the end of the Zanibar event, and can't really deliver many jobs anyway since the ones arriving just before the end of an event don't seem to get counted. I'm really surprised to find myself at #9 even with minimal playing today. Looks like North has gone to bed. WOW! TA1 is #4 which is not bad considering we had ~12 hour late start. I bet we can make #2 or #3 in the next event. And the nice thing about moving to TA1 is that it has given other people in TA0 a chance to hold a Top 10 position.

I have Honolulu, NY, London, Tehran, Beijing, Tokyo Lima, Kinshasa, Jakarta Wanted to follow a two route plus sit-and-collect bux strategy but I think the planes are flying all over the place. Maybe because I still can't totally get rid of 25% bonus mentality. BTW, how do you add a signature to the end of your post? Welcome home Faye. Have a good sleep and wake up refresh for the next event ! I started to wind down my Zanzibar operations, i.e. stop send Zanzibar jobs to Kinshasa. But it's so tough to turn a blind eye to a 6bux Zanzibar job from LA. And now seriously thinking whether to close my Honolulu operations...
