Well, I guess I was one of those Google lurkers to start, but now that I'm getting addicted to PP quite a bit, time to join a real crew and put some effort into getting rewards. So I will be adding my airline to TA1 soon. Only level 17 for now, but growing quickly. I won't be in this event, but will try to start the next one if it is near where I fly. I need to dig around and find the best strategy to get going faster at my level. GC - Taonas
Update on my missing reward problem... After three or four days I got an email back saying they were investigating and they very kindly sent me the Hammerfest reward too. They asked if the same thing had happened with Washington, I said yes, they sent me 30 Bux too. Got an email last night saying they have identified the problem which is related to people who go in and out of the app, and it will be fixed in the next update, which they are currently working on. Impressive service for a free app, I reckon.
Hahahahaha you are very funny, I hardly played today and fully expect to drop much further down by the end of this event ... very busy in real life, and have a busy day tomorrow celebrating a family member's 70th birthday, so very little opportunity to sit down and fling planes across the globe. I'm actually not feeling very good and coming down with something, hoping it doesn't hit me hard until after tomorrow's bday celebration cuz I've spent a lot of time planning the event. Making slow progress on the Bux race ... I'm up to 14.3k Bux. I'd do much better on PP if I didn't play MW, I end up playing both games half-4$$3D by splitting my time between the two. :-/ Well, maybe I'll fling a few planes before I go to bed ... So.... is this an appropriate time to say jiayou?
I had to follow my TA frieds. I started doing the event with 1d8h left. Anyone know how many jobs i need to get to top 10 in TA1?
Train 2000 is proving that train is more efficient than planes, leading at 1741 jobs. Bluebear retires at #10 with 724 jobs (you might be able to convince him to come out of retirement). Yes, this is a great time to say jiayou. I've been racking my brains to think which mandarin phrase to use. The best I can come up with is "Get well soon" Grats you got your reward. Taonas: where are you based at ? Which airports are you operating now?
Wow. Just imagine Train2000 in pocket trains. With 22 hours left i have done 188 jobs. I've slept for 6 hours and been at work for the last 3,5 hours. It was supposed to be a 2 hour job. I don't think i wanna try and convince him. Im trying to take his place.

Fun GameCenter stats 70 friends 70 have played PP 63 have played PP at the latest on the 15th october! the 25th based on level is at level 38 ! I never had really used GameCenter before PP, started to trade parts. Hey, sure, come on in! The idea for Toucharcade1 crew is to gather active PP players who also follow this thread, and see how high we can go in the leaderboards! It's not a private club, just join us, but please leave your GameCenter Id in this thread and add us so we all can see names in the leaderboard, it's way more fun!
And, you zoomed past me to #11, with double the jobs. On a positive note, I may be able to catch up to Jayorros. Except that I do have a life, and tomorrow will be super busy with guests coming over. I learned the round trip thing a few weeks back too (yay for lurking!) but I have 5 Roos and a blimp doing the rounds. Although they're coming from Kinshasa, so the trip is longer than from Nairobi. I originally had Khartoum but copied others' strategy and changed to Kinshasa. And my other planes randomly bring Zanzibar jobs from wherever I feel like. Maybe I need to be more organized on that end.
Right now, I'm in the northern hemisphere. I have Honolulu to Tokyo running with LA/SF, NY, London/Paris, Tehran, and Beijing. There are also some other airports along the route to give me a little more to do than a straight line. That is run with a lot of Pearjets, working on converting the non-pearjets of my fleet to Aeroeagles until I can get C3 jets. Fleet is currently 17 strong. Bux are going to be my biggest choke on expansions it seems. Only two levels to go till 20.

So you've crossed the Atlantic. All the heavyweights here run on sequoias. They are slower but cheaper, especially if you're going after bux rather than 25% bonus. I've sent you one. See how you like it. BTW, there are several people here in the 44,500 bux (can't remember exact number) race, to change to 1 billion coins. I'm strapped for coins rather than bux right now. Hoping to expand plane slots. Vic Sark here is the champion with 41 plane slots (am I right Vic?) "Im trying to take his place." That MIGHT nudge him [Bluebear] out of retirement jiayou Teodor.
True that! We obviously don't care much about the Bux reward, but the new challenge is working great apparently. More than 30 members, almost all the forum heavyweights and more interesting new members coming out of lurking for the occasion We are also a TA crew, just more focused. So there's no harm done to TA original. It will continue to be number 1 for quite long with its more than 3000 players doing the minimum jobs requirement (ie 120,000 jobs for this event, maybe less cause of the unexciting reward). It will be interesting to see if we can get to the second place at the next event. I needed sthg like that to continue playing PP, because the usual routine has no end goal any more since I exchanged Bux for coins for plane slots. I did skip all events since Ottawa.
I sent you a sequoia to. I thought of that when i wrote it, but thats ok. Right now i`m trying to catch Jayorros (12) and Thisisina (13). Im at level 16.
I think we can make second place at the next event, or the event after that. Thats only if the TA1 crew stays and not going over to TA crew if the next plane is a plane or a rare part.
The one to fear is no-life sd062 who is a tornado tearing up the leaderboard. She gobbled up Bear, turned SlightlyNorth's weather vane to SlightlySouth, flew over Faye and is but a hair away from Rebartsch (sorry, a job away). Hi long time lurker first time poster here. Been with the TA crew for a while, but now thinking about switching over to TA1 for the next event (had to sit this one out due to too many layovers!) Currently in the process Of re-arranging my airports (still have too many class 1 ports open in Europe, but every time I go to shut one I see a bux job heading for there!) ATM running 5 pear jets, 2 fog busters, 5 kangaroos and 2 Mohawks. GC is Spike3187 feel free to add me will go through the list of members of TA1 when I get on my PC and add who I can.
Unfortunately it will soon be bedtime here in Australia - then everyone on the other side of the world will catch up and overtake me again!
