New flight crew I like the TOUCHARCADE1 idea, esp since the winner price is lower than that for 2nd in global events. Why dont they skip 1st price anyway, heh ? Im running a small scale operation (lvl 19, just 14 planes, some pearjets, birchcrafts and mohawks). OK to join in?
And putting a LOT of pressure on me ! I went off for couple of hours to find myself back in #10 with Jayorros on my tail. Saw you Jonesy at #15. you're very fast and I'm very slow LOL, I'm not sure if there's any criterion to join toucharcade1. Probably that we are addicted to PP and talk a lot on the forum. I used to run pearjets too at about your lvl. And I was told pearjets are very expensive to run (though I love the speed). I've since retired all my pearjets and birchcrafts. Now running sequoias and areoeagles, like most of the people here. Add me CastlePage on GC and I'll send u an areo and a sequoia. So jonesy joining North's bux race?
Nah, no races or anything, I just want to get a few more plane slots to have 4 making the trip to Hawaii. hen t is just building up the bux time.Eventually I will do a mass tradein just to have an umpteen billion dollar airline LOL!
Here's what I did for this global event: I ran tons of jobs to Kinshasa with my main fleet of sequoias. I had my aero m, Pearjet p and a Pearjet c shuttling layovers from Kinshasa to Nairobi. Then from Nairobi to Zanzibar I only ran 2 Mapples and a seaknight. Since Nairobi is only a 3 minute flight from Zanzibar and Kinshasa was 12mins from Zanzibar, this shorter allowed me to send four times as many jobs as I could have sent running from Kinshasa direct to Zanzibar with the same number of planes. This was perfect for me since I have to keep pocket planes open all the time for the servers to count my jobs properly. I wish nimblebit support would help me out already... Anyways I'm proud of our efforts in this event Ta1! I'm shutting down my airline for the majority of today due to a busy workload. I'll try to send a few jobs here and there. Good luck! And don't forget to add everyone in TA1 to Gamecenter(it may help if everyone in TA1 places their gc name and TA1 loyalty in their signature and post here!
Hey all, Just hit 27,000 Bux!!! WooHoo!! I have been running just 3 planes back and forth from Zanzibar (2 from Kinshasa & 1 from Nairobi) So I think I will be kissing the top ten goodbye sometime today. Hello all, been a lurker here for about a week. Learning lots, still lots to learn. Level 45, used to be with another flight crew, but made the switch. I have recieved some plane parts from the events, but never seen Mapple parts, how do you get those?
Welcome! The Mapple is only found on Mac. If you have a Mac, you can buy it from the marketplace. You can trade for it from other players if you don't have a Mac. If you've joined TouchArcade1 be sure to scroll back a couple pages on this thread and add everyone to Gamecenter so we can see each other in the leaderboards.
One of the reasons I didn't delurk sooner is because I knew if I had people to interact with about the game, I'd become even more addicted. Plus, now my competitive side is coming out, and it's motivating to see who you're competing with. BTW, who's at 16 & 17?
Count me in for the new flight crew. I am not, however, joining in on this particular event. Still going strong for the 44,500 bux at the moment. I am sure no matter what on Sunday morning when I wake up for work I will join in on the new event that is posted. Finally hit level 40! 1.764 million coins in the bank, and 10,441...no wait, 10,448 bux total. I am still wondering if I can get to 44,500 with all these losing and breaking even flights I am running
Oh my! That's way too much micromanaging for me. But I understand how you need to do that until they fix your job counter. I'm just leisurely shuttling layovers from Kinshasa to Zanibar, it suits me fine to come back 1/2 hr or more later. I'm still doing my long distance run, and also trying to collect Bux for the Bux race. I'm going to drop down the Leaderboard quite a bit, very busy with work today, and I'll be out most of Saturday for a big family birthday celebration which my SIL & I have been planning. BTW I'm still playing around with posting screenshots here. I think there was a problem with that website when I tried it cuz the site wouldn't load, and then when it finally did load, the "choose file" button was greyed out. Maybe the button will work next time I try.

Don`t think i can do this anymore. 0 jobs for this event. I think i have to get my Kangaroo`s or Mohawk`s out of the hangar. Whats going on with Toucharcade1? Many members? How many jobs have the crew done? Edit: What crew are my friends on?
When TA gets first and second place, we need to get Toucharcade2 and 3 and so on until we rule the world. Or Pocket Planes.
I know Nimblebits is likely not happy TA has never relinquished #1 spot but at least 9 other flight crews would still get the very decent 2nd prize so that is not bad. But imagine if TA broke down into 10 flight crews and dominated the top 10! I can see it happening. Typically TA does 10x the jobs as #2 so it TA divided into 10flight crews and the top job runners spread themselves evenly over the 10 I could see a truly dominant top 10 spots for TA1-TA10. Then Nimblebits would have fits.
