Anybody else with the "ghosts" problem? I have a Mohawk where two of the three passengers seats are taken by ghosts. Can you remove them by putting your plane in the Hangar?
Yes. Or fly the "infected" plane to all the airports and hope that hey will drop off. Its cheaper to hangar the plane then bring it back out.
Ok, you know how I usually think the Global Event ends on Saturday at noon? Well this time I remembered it ended at midnight .... except that I thought Hammerfest would end tonight at midnight (about 5 minutes ago). I thought today was Saturday because yesterday was my "virtual Friday". I'm so confused.... I haven't been able to put much focus on Hammerfest due to work and real life, but I'm still hanging in there, trying to maintain a spot in the Top 25. I'm enjoying my switch back to Profit Mode and making a few minor tweaks along the way, thinking I need a Bux pickerupper in place to replenish the supply after having spent thousands on rearranging my fleet between Global Events. I really like the cargo in this event and the thought has crossed my mind to replace my M Roos with C Roos ... but I'm too practical to spend Bux to make such a switch. Thanks for sharing that photo. I'd love to visit Norway someday. I've been reading Jo Nesbo mysteries and they take place in Norway, so I've actually heard of Bergen. I sent you a GC request.
Welcome Edit2: Faye is #5 at 1100 jobs, (Confirm leaderboard is NOT updating. no change in Faye's job count). Well within Top 10 let alone Top 25. I'm staying out of hammerfest event totally. I've spent the last couple of days busy (real life) and re-vamping my fleet to sequoia Ms (which the market promptly refused to sell after I made the decision). I'm trying out an extension of North's double route "(NY to Tokyo) and Rio to Jakarta." and going into bux chasing mode. I've retired my cloudliners and even cyclones as they are really too expensive to fly without the 25% bonus. I'm not sure how many bux I made because I had to double my sequoia fleet plus upgrade them to fly Jakarta-Kinshasa. Not sure how Faye spends 1000 bux re-arranging planes for global events but I've spent thousands of bux on these sequoias Side rant: I think nimbleBit developers have programmed an evil-minded psycho into PP that is able to read ppl's minds and wreak havoc. From all accounts, it is able to shut down airport at critical times, prevent wanted parts from showing up at the market (and constantly shows tetra-C part which I DON'T want). I'm not sure if the ghost passengers are a programming fun or mutation. But if I were a terrorist organization, I'll headhunt NimbleTim and company ... Edit: I rebooted my iPad twice today because PP crashed and refused to start until I rebooted. Anyone else has this problem? Edit 2: Bought 9 or 10 sequoia Ms. Officially bux broke. Finally finished fleet revamp. And the always excellent weather timing closed new york airport. No planes were grounded in NY, but 4 planes are led up waiting to pass through NY. Coins hardly grew at all. I think probably because I'm not using 25% bonus.
Yes there is, at least on Android. I can't close an airport I've upgraded (Geraldton) and on the Mobage Feedback page another user is reporting the same bug, also with an upgraded airport. I've exchanged mails with the Mobage support and they're saying all we can do is wait for an update. If your airport is not upgraded, maybe you just don't have enough coins to pay for the closing payment (I know this is unlikely). See the equation for this here: Airport Statistics Wiki
If you close an Airport you get money back (that's why it's "payment" instead of "cost"), so that can't be the reason

Cattle Car Airlines. I believe in honest advertising. Whenever I'm stuck on a packed 737 I find myself moooooing quietly... I started running the Pumpkinfest in Melbourne. My layover point is Jakarta. Guess what airport closed for an hour?
New System So, i'm back to my Bux system while i wait for next global... its a little complicated, but the bux pour in (Hub is in bold) Kin - Buenos, Rio, Sao, Lima Mum - Shang - Xian - Beij - Tok - Seoul Cairo - Lond - Paris - Mos Advertising on for the 3 hubs I use cyclones for south america and seq's for the rest. Each city is assigned one plane to go back and forth to it's hub, and there are 6 mixed planes that just shuttle layovers between hubs. When i play a lot, i can catch between 500-750 bux a day and all flights make some money. Its pretty easy to fit in the global event, especially if it's in Asia (then i can just turn this whole system as a feeder for the event). For Hammerfest, i closed down South America and fed Moscow. If anyone has a better suggestion (not a straight line network, though - so BORING) please let me know. I'm all about the Bux and events.
Well I won't be participating in flight crew events for a while... I dropped my iPhone into a sink full of hot water while doing the dishes, and something went wrong with my iCloud backup, so it seems I've lost my level 27 airline... Time to start from scratch! Ugh....
has anyone had luck with getting iCloud backups to work when trying to get your game to sync up with the Mac version? I know i've asked before but i was hoping that someone who hasn't seen my post a while ago would be able to give me some insight on how to get it to work... I am also getting an iPod Touch 5g soon because my iPod is breaking down so i want to make sure that i'll be able to get my game onto it. If the iCloud sync feature doesn't work for the iPod-iPod, would i be able to reset from a backup from my old iPod to get game data? Or would i not be able to since this iPod is only at 5.1.1 and the ipod 5g would be at 6.0?
