Fully agree, they just fulfill a check mark for my airpedia. That being said, I still need a P-40 body
I haven't tried using the bobcat. I share the same thinking as Train on that one, and probably for the p40 as well once I complete it.

Anybody notice a change in your local events after the 1.0.5.0.1 update? It looks as though once you deliver 1000 jobs and get the check mark, that event is now "closed". Previously, it looked like a second event was started at 0 upon completion (e.g. I had two of the same event in my list, one with a new counter and one with the check mark) but it looks like NimbleBit considered that a bug, not a feature. Now all my "second run" events have disappeared from the list. I actually prefer it this way. You have a tangible end goal of 44 check marks and a fully completed list.

I ended perth event at #70. Don't rmb how many jobs that was. I'm now trying out the bux strategy. It's still a little messy as I figure out how to do things. Three quick questions (maybe no quick answers): 1. Is there anyway of quickly scrolling through the airports? (esp those that have no planes waiting) Andrwsc suggested using 1 bux boost to catch bux jobs, so I imagine he didn't have an appropriate plane in that city. 2. Say there's a sequoia at los Angeles and there's a bux job for honolulu, and the sequoia is the only plane there. Is there anyway that the sequoia can pick up and layover that job without having to say fly out to mexico city or chicago? 3. How to get a sequoia to pick up a layover Honolulu job at London and drop it off at Los Angeles for layover? Usually if I pick up a layover job in City A and drop it off at City B (not the destination), the layover sign is gone, and if I exit that load/unload screen, the job is also gone

So you should ask for more. And if you don't have enough plane slots for all 25 Mapples, send me some Mapples and I'll help you perform your studies. Edit: Your Mapple study got me so excited I forgot my rant. Here it is: I woke up to find Jakarta airport closed due to rain (GRND 47mins), so I couldn't clear my Perth layovers plus stuck planes. Finally the 47 mins wait was over .... and Jakarta was promptly closed again due to fog !!!
Maybe NimbleTim could shed some light on my troubles... I've sent close to 50 jobs at least but my counter has read 4 jobs for over four hours, here are some pics from just a couple minutes ago. Notice the wired leaderboard that doesn't show where I am... @CastlePage I see someone studied stats/probability. We were always told 30 is the magical number xD
So I worked the global event for a couple of hours today and I'm just short of 400 jobs. 7 sequoias and 21 class one planes (Roos, Mohawks, and 1 Mapple) I even Bux boosted a few flights at the beginning. So when I see someone at 1400 jobs finished I just shake my head and say screw this game. If you're going to time boost your planes join different flight crew.
