Remember if you had closed Tiksi when your counter was at 98%, when you reopen the game thinks you are starting over. So although GC say you are 98, you are starting at 0 and the counter will not change until you get back to 98... In short, if you just reopened the airport you will have to send another 100 jobs to finish the goal.
Arrgggh. I can sync iOS data to one Mac user, but not another (same computer), even though gamecenter shows the right account logging in. Logging in and out of GC, deleting the app etc have no effect on making the second user (and the one I want to use) on my MBP update the synced data. It just starts from fresh all the time.
1.0.5 update just as buggy... (sigh) I had high hopes that version 1.0.5 would be a lot more stable, but I had to laugh out loud (sadly) when I installed it. Literally within 1 second after the splash screen appeared, the app crashed. After opening up the app a second time, it immediately crashed again. Only on the third attempt did it stay open. Note that I had two popup messages from gifted parts, so I presume that's related to the crash. The third attempt to open the app did not have the popup message queued for display. Also, I checked out the new planes in the Airpedia, and the Kringle Kruiser (obviously the December 25 event prize...) has corrupted graphics, with a different style of corruption each time I view it. Here's one example: Lastly, I am getting achievement popups for some that I completed weeks ago (and had been logged in Game Center properly), which is odd. I'm hoping this means that the achievement-logging code in Pocket Planes is more robust and doesn't make any assumptions about what has been successfully pushed to the GC server or not. After resetting achievements twice already in the past, I had managed to complete 35 of 36 achievements, but got stuck at 97% on Tiksi. Argh. I kept the city open in hopes of triggering the achievement again someday, and I just launched a blimp from Beijing so I'll know in about an hour...
Coastcat has been my constant companion since I started on global events. Teodor2004 came and join in the fun this time. As in the past, I came within inches of Top10 This time the 11th spot. Teodor2004: Ottawa was a fun race. I was out until here and there yesterday, and I only managed to be back in the last couple of hours or so. But that wasn't enough to do much with you consistently 3xx more jobs than I have. LOL The last hour's leaderboard update was and I went to bed with another 25 min or so to go (the events here end at almost 3am !) Coastcat: {clap} as always, you managed to sail right into the Top 10 and stay there. LOL Octopus North: How do you keep up with 20 roos?? More specifically, how do you get enough passengers/cargo to feed 20 roos? How to send complete plane? I tap the gift button of a part and it goes immediately to the list of friends. I have (including prize) 13 blimp engines, 17 controls and 11 bodies. Plus I gifted one blimp and built one blimp. Any one want to swap bodies for control? Note: I don't have Mac. So shld I update PP? (undecided after reading comments about the update.)
Transatlantic achievement works now. Glitch to allow more layovers is gone. The load and unload buttons are buggy.
What do you mean by cannot load planes quickly? Edit: I just updated PP on my iPhone to test it out. tap to load/unload individually doesn't work ? When I hold, it load/unload ALL job that fills your plane's capacity. This is bad news since I want to individually control who/which to load. E.g. I just want to load a bux job, not all jobs in that city. Is this what happens on iPad?
Using an Ipad. Everything is slow and yes, you can't individually add jobs. If you tap on 'load' button nothing happens. Thanks! I've sent the bodies . When I received the Blimp controls and clicked continue the app crashes
My loading and unloading seem fine. The unload button is not as responsive as it use to be. Now takes a couple of taps to work. The layover bug fix really hurts. Now I spend a lot of time scrolling up and down to shift passengers and cargo around. The I'd is almost a game breaker for me. I know the bug was a bit of a crutch but it was handy especially if you were one over. Gave you a bit of leeway. Now......ugh!
Received the blimp bodies. Thanks ! I need to be able to load individual jobs. I'm ferrying jobs between twin cities to create sufficient layovers so that my big planes (sequoias, cyclones and cloudliners) can fill and fly off asap. Losing money on the layover creation, but hope to make it up in 25% bonus from the big planes. Once in a while, I fly a bux dominant flight. Hence need to load individual jobs. So looks like I won't be updating PP until this bug is fixed. Anyway, I haven't touched PP all morning (had a meeting). It's good to feel FREE from babysitting planes ! But this forum/community is so fun that I keep coming back to check.
Just added a 1-star negative review at the Apple App Store, I'm done playing until they fix these bugs.
