You said that Ottawa was your first event. You got spoiled. Mystery parts only show up when there is a full air craft for a reward. That was the first full air craft event since July. Hopefully there will be another full reward again sooner.
I'm gonna guess that the next chance for a full plane event is due at the end of October with Halloween.
Concorde's final flight was sometime this month so I'm hoping there'll be a Concorde Ceremony. Having a fleet of Concorde would surely get me right back into the game.
My first full event. My time settings have been wrong on my ipad, and the date was set to two days later then it was so i have only played about 12 hours in every event since i started this game. The first event i took a screenshot of was Search and rescue in Goose Bay at level 14. I think i played two or three events before that.
I know... But it's one of the two fastest planes. It would probably be able to go from Tokyo to L.A. in less than 40 minutes.
I ended up in 19th place at 1998 jobs, tied for my best finish, with 12 blimps to go with my other four that I'll probably never use. I'll never be able to hang with the heavy hitters but it was still a fun event. For this next one it's fifty jobs and see ya.

Nope, I'm experiencing the same problem on my iPhone 4. I also got new notifications for a lot of my achievements, so I guess the update included a code fix that affected achievement counts? Maybe I'll try Tiksi again since it froze at 62%. I'm spending more energy on transporting to the air museum opening in Sao Paulo (already had Rio open anyway) than on the global event. Closing Paris... not nice! Luckily it will re-open in a few minutes, wonder if London will close at that time...
On my rank you are second place with 148 jobs. I have the first place (for now) with 180 jobs. How many planes do you send to Bordeaux? Im sending three from London and two from Paris.
Hmm well it is suffering from a Thunderstorm now so presumably it's imminent. Yeah the update has fixed the achievement it seems, about 10 of mine which hadn't previously been clocked have now been resolved. If you find out about Tiksi it'd be appreciated if you could let me know. Annoyingly my Honololu got stuck at 98% but I've since sold it. Edit: The miles for each plane has also been vastly inflated now, presumably they are now 'real' as beforehand they weren't even close?
