Slightlynorth, Mate,I just realized that you did almost 10 000 jobs for the event, that must be a record, isn't it? The event was 3days and a half, so it means you sent almost 120 jobs AN HOUR to Tokyo!!! 12 fully loaded Sequoias! Assuming you slept a little bit, it goes up to 160 jobs an hour for the duration of the event! Congrats but... well, dude, imho, maybe you should consider taking a small break from PP lol Or you'll begin dreaming of tiny planes flying on a green map filled with tiny people and odd cargo!
I haven't been on for a few days, and missed the start of this event so I'm not competing for top 10 this time. I'm level 23 with a fleet of 16 sequoias and fogbusters, and I have all red cities but 4. What level do I unlock cloudliners at?
FYI for people who have Asian cities going to Riyadh -- can fly direct from Guangzhou to Riyadh on areoeagle+5% and pearjet +5%. I have Tehran set up as a transit point since it can be directly reached from London as well as from Beijing (Pearjet+5%, Areoeagle) and Guangzhou. Another 3 qns: 1. I'm at lvl 24 now. If I manage to earn enough coins to open another plane slot, should get another sequoia? Or wait till lvl 26 and buy cyclone? 2. For such large planes like 10/12 seaters, is it better to get M or P/C ? Coastcat and Faye have said that they use M (with gentle head bangings). If I'm just filling up the planes without aiming for the 25%, then M is good. But if I'm aiming for 25% and still have 1 or 2 more slots to fill, it doesn't always work out coz I have to wait for a particular P or C. 3. I assume trusty RustySnowman's calculator is without 25% earnings. Say for Beijing-Tehran-London trip, the profit from Cloudliner is rather close to Sequoia, but time taken is shorter. Of course, Cloudliner needs even more time to fill up. But if there's lots of passengers/cargo and not considering 25% bonus, is it better to run Cloudliner than Sequoia? (I know there are compulsive 25% bonus doers ... I catch myself doing that). Hmm ... I am spending more time pondering over PP than my work PP forces me to take a break now and then. I'm writing this now because New York airport is closed Guangzhou closes at least once a day !!!
I call for upgrades to Pocket Planes! I've dominate the world, and made my Bux now I want to see more planes! I'd like to see more for my bitzens than just getting shuttled around! Do you hear me NimbleBit!
How's everybody been doing? I've kept an odd eye on the events and there seems to have been a healthy stream of mad top 10 people recently! Lots of jobs being done, and did we have 3 events in a row with plane parts? Sadly ones I've got, so I've stayed off. Now my phone is iOS6 so it feels almost new, good time to get into PP, just waiting for a new plane to throw myself at. Anyone had issues with iOS6? I had to restore twice to stop a weird bug with the music app, it just kept skipping all my songs. And I'm playing Battleheart again, not played since last year and my saves have all gone so I'm really looking forward to playing it again! Anyone else play Battleheart? Great title, can't wait for number 2..
You'll get Cloudliners at level 28 and Cyclones at level 26. I have one mixed Cloudliner, but it's probably going back into the hangar - it's expensive to run, and of course the lopsided mix is seriously annoying (5 cargo, 12 passengers). You're about to unlock the Tetra (level 24), which has the same capacity as the Sequoia but is much faster and consequently more expensive to run. Ugh, getting bored. I don't have any interest in re-opening Riyadh and none of the individual events appeal right now. Maybe I'll do some laundry instead.
It is funny that I am level 46 and only have 6 airports open. First person to guess which 6 airports I have open wins a Starship part of their choice!

What does PP for Mac mean? Does this mean we can sync our PP game (iCloud? I don't use it so not too familiar with using it) and play from both Mac and iPhone? Can't wait to find out what the correct answer is. At least I knew you weren't clustering. Already bored with Riyadh, going through long periods of neglect and then short spurts of flinging planes that way. Really need to put the Cloudliner in the hanger, it only manages to travel across the globe once or twice per day. .
