Hi CastlePage Why spend bux on upgrading your Sequoias. Just let them fly from Chicago to Paris over New York. No upgrade needed. Edit: I just checked the Rusty Snowman (http://therustysnowman.com/proj/pocketplanes.php) An upgraded Sequoia (range x1) takes 41 minutes to fly from Chicago to Paris. A non-upgraded Sequoia flying over New York needs exactly the same time. Cost/profit are also (almost) the same. So absolutely no need to upgrade! (But maybe I just misunderstood what you meant?)
If anyone is ranked high enough or hasn't started yet is able to view the top 10 could you post the rankings? I'm trying to get a good ranking for this event and would like to see how much it would take to be in the top 10. Thanks

Does anyone know when the next update will be released? I'm eagerly awaiting a patch for the achievements...
I used Cairo and Tehran fully upgraded. I sent all the planes west of Riyadh to Cairo and all the planes east off Riyadh to Tehran. I dont care to much about profit in the global events. I`ll make up my losses with a couple trips from LA to Tokyo.

Just reached level 24 If it were not for all the planes I received, I would probably still be struggling to reach level 13 or 14. So thanks again to everyone who sent me something. Nice! I never wanted those parts back. Happy that you are keeping them. Funny thing is I set up a pretty relaxed (in my opinion) route for this one and re-purposed my fleet of Sequoias back into profit mode. I have no idea how I am running away with this one as well! The top 10 is lonely without any other names up here with me.
This is the first event I can actually do. I'm kind of low-level (12), but I set up a Birchcraft-M to run the route London/Berlin to Riyadh. I'm so excited, please don't laugh at me
Havent participated in the last three events, counting this one. I guess I just dont feel the drive... Plus i dont have the money. Until a plane or something becomes availible MAYBE Ill join again. My Sea Knights have just been shuttle runs between Washington D.C. and Chicago.

LOL BTW, I checked the game center ... you were at lvl 60? wow. You are leveling very fast even now. In the all time leaderboard, the first is 2.1 million something. That's his lvl? (can't be his coin). My guess is someone is testing out the max lvl. But even the 2nd person with 294m lvl is
Look again! Quickly! Quickly! ... before I drop down the list after going to bed .... I'm continuing with a relaxed approached to Riyadh too ... still have my big planes flying LA-Tokyo and Lima-Tokyo.
Do I suggest this to Nimblebit? I quite enjoy this game but am struggling to find a way not to get caught up in checking every 5 minutes to see if there's any more jobs for my planes which are waiting at airports to fill up - I'd prefer to just check every 15, 30 or even 60 minutes. I'm wondering whether NB could do an in-app purchase to provide functionality to change the job refresh rate - eg pay X bux to change it to refresh every 15 minutes with 3 times the number of jobs as usual, or 2X bux to refresh every 30 minutes with 6 times the number of jobs, etc - and maybe pay Y bux to reset to 5 minute refreshes for when you actually want to babysit it more closely. Or maybe it could work like advertising and just change the refresh rate for a set period of time. What do people think, should I suggest it?
