Thank you both for taking the time to explain this. I'll just continue keeping an eye on my daily revenue. Coins & Bux are not such a big deal at level 47. They sorta add up over time. In the earlier levels, I would prioritize picking up Bux jobs over regular jobs. Always fill up your planes with passengers going to the same place so you get the 25% coin bonus. You get bigger Bux jobs for longer distances. The max I've seen were 10 Bux jobs, something like Honolulu to Toyko ... but really anything 7 Bux or more is a good thing. BTW, thank you for the random plane parts. I'm really not in any need of anything, but thank you! Is there anything I can help you with? Very true! The first Class 2 plane, the Birchcraft, is able to cross the Atlantic from South America to Africa .... something like Recife-Lagos, or Rio-Lagos (with range upgrade). Oh? When was the original end date? I didn't make a note of it before. And who is that at #1 with 3125 jobs???
Only problem is I wasted my money on other stuff, lol. The only big-time airports i've got unlocked are Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, Detroit, Boston, Miami, and Honolulu.
Since the London Games at the end of July, Global events have been 3 1/2 days. Resetting every Wed at noon (PDT) and Saturday night at Midnight (PDT). Also, the bad news is that we've never had three events in a row that included a plane part or whole plane. In fact, the 2nd and 3rd events way back at the launch of the game was the only time we had ever had 2 back to back events that included plane parts as part of the prize. I'm pessimistic that the next event will be anything but bux.. Hope I'm wrong. EDIT: woot woot I was wrong tokyo
I think I did this before but my whole route was a mess then so I had to remove Recife. Totally didn't see this coming. I usually do the jobs a few hours before it ends. Luckly, for this event I started a day after because I really want a Warhawk Try not to waste money because you'll need them for plane slots . Also try to plan ahead on which planes you want to use. Bux before long distance routes can be hard. Everything gets easier with Aeroeagles + Sequoias
Seaknight + bux for winner. Navigator M + bux for top 10. 50 job minimum. Robot uprising in Tokyo. Been a long time since we had a full plane event and now I am pretty sure we will not see many in the future. At least it seems that way.
Hey everyone I am trying to do my planning to participate in the tokyo event, just making sure you cant fly from LA to Tokyo over the pacific ocean, I think I read that somewhere. I am currently only based in NA, and South America, as I am only level 16 and haven't expanded to Europe yet. I think I am just going to buy a few cities around tokyo and move a few planes over there through the hangar. Edit: I finished I think 21-22 in the Easter island event, which is the first event I participated in beginning to end. I was happy with that, and learned a few tricks with layovers.
Different on my global event prize screen. Did they change it Winner ~ Sea knight part + 20 bux Top 10 ~ Navigator-M + Sea Knight part Top 100 ~ Sea Knight part + 10 bux Under 100 ~ Sea Knight part Navigator-M now a Global event prize
You cant fly from LA to Tokyo. I have all the red cities open in asia exept Bangalore and Karachi, and sending Seq M between them and Tokyo. 2 Pearjets between Tokyo and Seoul.
When I saw the new global event, I started giggling. Japanese robots on the rampage, awesome! Stupidly I clicked too fast and didn't see my final rank when the message came up a couple minutes ago, but I was at #10 when I last checked, somewhat behind Train 2000 and ahead of SlightlyNorth. Annoying but true: in this game the Pacific Ocean exists in some alternate dimension which you cannot cross. Here Be Dragons. You can make the first red-to-red leap (Rio de Janeiro to Lagos) in a Birchcraft with all three fuel upgrades. You could set up a long-distance route from Lima to Rio to Lagos to Khartoum (Class 2 city) to Dhaka to Tokyo. It won't be hugely profitable because of the small capacity of the Birchcraft, but would work for picking up bux jobs so you can buy better plane parts later. But in the meanwhile, send me a friend request and I'll send you something more useful.
I don't know who it is, but maybe they are using the adjust time cheat? I can't see someone wasting so many bux for a measly plane part...
Tokyo ... zzzzzz .... I find this uninteresting. Another boring Class 3 city event. I'll do my 50 and whatever jobs happens to swing by Tokyo ... unless I get that competitive urge. Easter Island was more fun. My little girl wanted to play PP, so it was always "fun" to fix everything afterward; she's old enough to know how to load a plane and send it on its way, young enough to not understand strategy/geography, so I 'd sometimes find Europe/Asia layovers dropped off at Easter Island. LOL I wouldn't buy any more class 2 (blue) cities in North America. Your goal is to own clasas 3 (red) cities. You'll eventually close out some of those cities as you upgrade your planes ... Detroit, Boston, Seattle & Miami should eventually go. I sent you a GC request, I'll send something your way that can cross the Atlantic from New York ... I know! What is this world coming to... Bet it's the same guy (gal?) who placed 1st for Easter Island. I reduced my fleet down to 11 planes after Easter Island closed. I'll add a few more as I figure out what I'm doing next. Too busy baking cookies right now.
