Any idea if a fully upgraded fuel tank on the Kangaroo would be able to reach Easter Island from Lima? It must be very close.

According to the Rusty snowmans great calculator, you come up 14 miles short.

Will these event jobs will count towards my Easter Island award or will I have to do another 100 after the event is over? The reason I ask is when we have a global event we don't get credit for a parallel personal event.
    Thanks.

I suspect that the event jobs will count towards achievements as I've finished other achievements while participating in earlier global events.

You can tell us the definitive answer by running jobs for the Easter Island event! Just go to your achievements list periodically to see if the percentage goes up while you're working the event. If your percentage towards completion of the 100-job achievement equals the number of event jobs you've landed, then it works...

Okay, players ranked 2-7 have delivery numbers between 156 and 82. So how the heck did the #1 player (not in my Friends list) manage to deliver 563 jobs already? I've got 10 Mohawks and 2 Blimps making the run, with Aeroeagles feeding into Lima from Mexico City, Sao Paolo, and Buenos Aires. I'm not sure I'll be patient enough to deliver that many jobs for the entire event!

I was in 1st place for a couple of minutes in the beginning. When i saw that you got that many loads i started playing mw3 instead. I ended at 141 jobs.
    7th place for this event.

    You got that right! :D :D :D

OK, have any of you ever noticed planes in your hangar disappearing and ending up on the Parts page?

I only found 3 Blimps in my Hangar this morning and I *know* I had more than that. I found them converted into parts on the Parts page. Grrr...
Really no big deal to put them in service from the Parts page vs Hangar page (3 bux vs 2 bux) but it sure was annoying as heck to have to spend extra Bux to give them the range upgrades. :(

Yes, I've already spent the Bux reward/prize from the Easter Island event on rearranging my fleet. No big deal, I that for all these events, but it sure is annoying to have to spend more than anticipated. You know?

Anyhow, I've dusted off the 3 Blimps in the Hangar and re-assembled the remaining Blimps from Parts. It's a nearly 2 hour round trip between Lima and Easter Island. :) My big planes are bringing in Easter Island jobs from the Shanghai area (4 cities), London/Paris, and LA/NY. My problem right now is a backlog of layovers in Lima, planes grounded & waiting to unload as soon as there is space.

I've never owned any Mohawks before, totally skipped them at the lower levels. I'm finally gonna give those a try since my beloved Kangaroos can't make the distance.

Last night I decided to give the Cloudliner a try too. I built my very first Cloudliner M ... OMG it took FOREVER to fully load it with natural jobs (no feeding or layovers). But it does make a nice chunk of change from LA to Tokyo.

What a silly way to spend Bux! I've never used Bux to speed up arrival, I've got better things to do with my Bux. Yeesh.

I'm not in first place. I was just guessing what #1 was doing. (Sorry for my bad English).

I don't know if anyone else noticed it, but I was able to have more than sixty layovers in Chicago during the Yellowknife event. I got up to 72/60 layovers. In the past when I tried to go over the limit I wasn't allowed to offload. Didn't matter as I was only able to get up to 21st place.

None of my class 1 planes (kangaroos) can reach Easter Island? How do I do it?

I had to put nearly 20 Kangaroos back into the Hangar cuz they can't make the distance. I'm using Blimps and Mohawks for the Easter Island event. The Supergopher can make it, but it only takes 1 job, so not very efficient.

    Did you receive the Fogbuster?

Yes I did thanks. I am using my Roos as feeders from Rio, Buenos and Santiago, while I save up for Mohawks. I have full layovers for Easter Island in Lima

I just sent you the parts for a Mohawk C. I also sent two Blimp parts (everyone should have a blimp!), but spaced out and forgot which ones I sent and which one you still need.

There are only 3 planes you can use if you are using Lima:
    Mohawk (2x upgrade)
    Blimp (2x upgrade)
    Supergopher

These three planes can make the hop from Lima to Easter Island.

And only the SuperGopher (with 3x fuel upgrade) can reach Cuzco, which is the next closest city to Easter Island.

Currently I'm #4 on the crew, but I'm withdrawing from that route to send chemical spill jobs to Araguiana (also in South America) for the sake of variety. If I slip out of the top 25, yeah, I'll probably zoom back to Easter Island...
