So my "jobs by you" section under touch arcade still says it will be updated soon even though i've done a couple of hundred now. Anyone else's say this or is it showing how many jobs you've done? cheers
That is just a counter for jobs done for the current event. If you don't have an airport in Calgary it will keep saying updating but should be zero.
Loving this game but I have a newb question...how do you utilize layovers in the game? Like one of my airports says 0/10 for layovers, and when I upgraded it increased the number of layovers. However, I see no option to use layovers, could someone a pilot out lolz?

When you have loaded someone onto a plane, and you fully land in someplace other than their destination, unload them. This will cause a layover, leaving them in that place until you pick them up again.
I think you always want to have the maximum possible number of airports for your level, but if you can afford it, I don't see why you need to keep the number of planes lower than that ... you can usually have at least 5 layovers in any airport even before its upgraded.
What level do you have to be for Class 3 planes? Also, a random tip: if you're watching your planes for coins/bux, always follow the fastest plane you have flying. More speed = more coins/bux.
Too addictive means battery dies so need to play plugged in. Then catch buxs while holding in portrait mode to relieve arms from holding in landscape. Wish it was possible to play in portrait the whole time.
Any Interest in More Regionalized TA Crews? Did anyone else start in Africa? It makes helping out in Calgary sort of a moot point, but it seems like a good little network of small airports to branch out from. So far I'm almost halfway to level 8 with only a few total hours of playtime under my belt stretched over the last day and a half. It might be worth considering splitting (or expanding) the primary TA crew into a bunch of regionalized ones around the Pocket Planes globe. Clearly the level of output folks on this forum are generating is enough to sustain more than one or two events!
kinda regret starting off in australia. just got a class 2 plane and it can't land in any airport except for sydney and melbourne which is like 2mins apart. and to make things worse the closest class 2 or class 3 airport is Jakarta and the range of the class 2 plane cannot reach it.. sighh
Ok I'm level 8 right now and I'm unsure of where to expand to next. I started off in central America and I serve San Jose guatemala panama Havana and Miami. The problem is should I continue north to the US or south to south America? And if the US where?
I wonder how many people are in our crew. Im 484th with 60 jobs done so im guessing there has to be over 1000 atleast?
oh yea..should be able to reach it with one upgrade, right now Jakarta is just outside the reach of Melbourne. thanks
Oh goody, I just lost everything... Over 30 hours playing the game, very little sleep, a couple of class 2 planes, plus a couple of capital cities even. 30 hours at the very bottom estimate, I'm sure it was more than that and it's just gone in a flash.... What makes it worse is that my iCloud still shows that there is data on there, but NOTHING will synch up... Any one that hasn't played this game yet, if you have an iPad and iPhone, DON'T PLAY IT ON BOTH AT THE SAME TIME! Trust me you will get owned by iCloud if you do because this game doesn't implement it very well. Stick to the phone!
