I'm back in the top 3 for this event, but I don't think I will claim #1 or even #2 now. Who else is in the running? Add me on GC: Slightlynorth
Well, I've set my blimp last night to fly for 107 days and 12hrs, or a simpler version, it will land about 11:30 local on Christmas day I'll post some pictures of it soon to prove it
I've been enjoying this Seoul event. Forced me to expand into that part of the world. Running 4th right now. However, in the past 3 hours, both of my major hubs I'm using have been shut down for an hour. Frustration........ Add me on Game Center: Number1Ump Douglas
Nome To Wellington, via Juneau, Los Angeles, Chicago, Mexico City, Lima, Rio De Janeiro, San Paulo, Recife, Monrovia, Lagos, Cairo, Instabul, London, Moscow, Karachi, Delhi, Dhaka, Beijing, Guanzhou, Shanghai, Seoul, Shenyang, Tokyo, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, Alice Springs and Sydney There's about a day flying between all the links except Sydney-Wellington, which has about 65-75 days of flying..I'm really going to be sued a lot I might try Most Profitable Flight next
Just running in neutral, waiting for the next global event. While waiting, I finally finished the Pirate Party 1000-delivery mark and the Punta Arenas achievement. Now I'm cleaning up the extra open cities, sending my big planes to key cities, and hoping for a Class 1 event... Wow, I'm at #881 for the current event. Can I really ignore the urge to re-open Seoul and throw all my planes into action?
I know that there are 31 class 3 airports. Should I eliminate all of the 1 and 2 to get all the class 3's, and are there any class 3's not worth buying?
So here's the pictures of my grand blimp flight, taken a few minutes after I set the flight off....It's travelling 3,540,816 miles
Is this another one of those "wait 100 RL hours for something to happen or simply spend $2.99 to bypass the waiting" type of "games", ie Tiny Towers? I know it's the same dev, wondering if besides re-using the graphics if they recycled the mechanics too.
I think that Pocket Planes is waaaay better than Tiny Tower. It is much more strategic and a little bit more difficult/requires more thinking. It's also got a better social aspect (events, etc.) I recommend you get it.
And no, it is not one of those wait 100 hours or buy to forward. You can play the game fine without spending real money.
Pocket planes is easy to play without making purchases. I haven't bought bux once. The only time something can take 100 hours is if you are crazy like me and a few others who fly blimps for flight distances of over 1 mil. In the beginning stages flights are mostly 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you expand.
I hit 2300 jobs and third place Thursday night and have done n I hit 2300 jobs and third place Thursday night and have done nothing since. I see that I'm in 10th place right now, soooooooooo I might as well try to stay in the top 10. ID: Train 2000
I'm done with Seoul ... bring on a Class 1 airport next !!! Here's the Top 10 line up for Seoul (from about 10 minutes ago): 1. 5082 2. 4001 3. 3770 4. 3572 5. 3316 6. 3312 7. 3268 9. 2943 10. 2804
Next event is an air show in port moresby for a bobcat part and 10 bux. Only 25 jobs are required to qualify.
I'm actually looking forward to this event, although I don't know if I'll shoot for a high ranking. Australia was my starting point, and Port Moresby was the exciting first "international" destination for my fledgling airline.
