Well, level 26 and I've packed up, it's been fun. Came to the realisation that I've pretty much 'beat' the game with the super efficient and lucrative NY>Tokyo Seqouia/Cyclone feeder route. Disappointed that the aim of the game isn't to expand and run a huge networked airline (Class 1/2 airports useless), but rather find the most profitable single route.

If you haven't destroyed your PP yet and you have a bobcat controls...

I'd say sad to see you go, but all your points are valid and it'll probably be the same reason when I finally hang up my winged hat.

For a minute I thought the Paris event was over! Still another 3h.

    Hi All,

First time poster here. Paris was my 2nd ever event. Had been playing for a long time before doing these. Finished 18th with 1639. Would love to discuss strategies for reaching even higher.

Hit me up on game center : Number1Ump

Yep got the same top 10, not sure it will wound the last minute jobs.
That was hard work but fun :)
Now I'll lay back a bit
I gained over 3500 Bux during the event!

At least you can load up at Buenos Aires/LA/Lima/Rio/Mexico City for profit runs while qualifying for the prize. At least it gives me an excuse to open a more direct route up to Tiksi and complete that achievement.

Not sure where I finished in the Paris event. When I saw that I had slipped down to #244, I had to send a bunch of loaded Sequoias to get back into the top 200, and then kept sending them. I might have blasted back into the top 100, because I'm obsessive that way. :p

The bonus to the next event is that it's in most people's pure-profit lines already. Although a lot of people mix things up from boredom at the minute...

The donwside is since it's a class 3 I now have to spend 3 and a half days resisting the urge to just run even more Seqs...

It's kind of cool that I don't have a choice about taking part in this event. Although the fact that after my first job list 10 of my 24 planes are idle. Whaaaa??!

3500 Bux! Nice! I didn't keep track of my Bux income. I've been spending my Bux on random parts whenever they popup in the Market, even though I have no intention of building the plane anytime soon. It's just in case I decide to in the future, cuz I have the worst luck at the Market when I am looking for something specific.

Seoul is too easy. I'll join you on this one, let's bask in the sun on the beach in Nice and watch the planes zip across the sky as they head toward Seoul. :D

I kept 7 to 10 planes sitting idle (intentionally) during the Paris event.
Right now most of my planes are sitting in Paris, my head hurts thinking about getting them out all of the airport.

Thinking about filling them with jobs? Just fly 'em out at a loss; your sanity is worth far more :D

I'm away this Saturday through Tuesday. Reckon if I manage two runs a day I'll be lucky. Boy I hope it isn't a full-plane event this weekend.

I got quite a mess with bad layovers everywhere too lol.
It'll take a few rounds to clear this up.
I had half my planes all the time at or going to Paris.
At the end, I just took whatever Paris jobs I could take and filled the plane up straight to Paris.
That was a bit exhausting (my baby girl woking me up in the middle of the night for the last few days didn't help too :( )

    Oh. Another bux-only event...
Without the challenge of collecting the Mystery Parts it is getting kind of boring...

I had planes scattered everywhere at the end of this event. I'd been running a Honolulu <-> Shanghai/Tokyo to chase the Aloha achievement with maximum profit, plus the Paris thing and the lumber games in Tokyo. What a mess.

Between 11am and 3pm when Paris ended, I rose from #244 to finish at #52. This game triggers some weird competitive impulses...

    True that.
I'm surprised too, I didn't think I'd end up with so many jobs and time spent.
Seeing the others names is fun, I saw Faye up there, untouchable, even if I sprinted in the last two hours!

NimbleTim, we should be able to see where everyone of our GC contacts stand, that would be great.
