Unfortunately yes. The best way to rid them is to get rid of the ghost passengers. (Sorry if I made such a big deal over this. Just trying to warn everyone.)
Demon-eyed mimes and now ghost passengers. This game is taking a turn to the occult. What next, bloody nerds? Vampires? Clowns?
I've never seen the ghosts before. Now you've got me wondering whether it is possible to unwittingly auto-load them ... Cuz I often use the press-and-hold method of loading all same destination jobs.
I've done almost everything I could think of. Since its just a big blank space that has no information, you cant unload them. Hanger the plane helps at the cost of a few bux to bring it back out. Even flying to all airports doesn't help. These ghost passengers are tricky ones. And the thing about the mimes, that's just them sleeping... unless they really are blinking...
I recently got my aeroeagles and seq rolling and income so im ready to expand right now all i have is the class 3s in north america and i want to try the LA> Tokyo route can someone explain to me the feeder system like whats the best plane to feed and how to do it because when i open up alot of airports i find its hard to fill up airplanes
Take a look at these 2 posts where someone else explains his use of feeders: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2336911&postcount=4462 http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2336892&postcount=4458 With Aeroeagles & Sequoias, you'd probably use the Aeroeagles as your feeder planes and your Sequoias as your long distance plane. But there are many ways to skin a cat, and this is not the only way to set up your fleet. Here are examples of North America to Asia routes which other people have implemented: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2352135&postcount=5257 http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2336846&postcount=4455 http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2387496&postcount=6072 This is a dual-hub scenario: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2392887&postcount=6179 This is a dual-route scenario: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2392642&postcount=6174 Slightlynorth's 4-hub/feeder configuration: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2392642&postcount=6174 And this one is worth taking your time to read, it's Pezmage's famous Sequoia Plan: Part 2 (his Sequoia plan): http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2347934&postcount=5039 Part 1 (his double route plan): http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2347932&postcount=5038 TheRustySnowman's Indispensable plane distance calculator: http://therustysnowman.com/proj/pocketplanes.php Hope this helps 9/29/12 Edit to add Slightlnorth's configuration & TheRustySnowman's PP calculator
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2347934&postcount=5039 This is a link to a post on page 504 of this thread(or maybe page 405 I forget and my memory is dyslexic) . Pezmage describes his very flexible airline system. I use this method in my setup and believe you might like it as well. It saves the trouble of using feeders and makes the airline run itself.
Went through a few pages of posts but didn't see anyone complaining about their job contributions not being acknowledged. I've delivered at least 20 items/people for the Paris mission but the flight crew info says I've delivered 2. I delivered two fogbusters full of Paris cargo/passengers yesterday and the game still isn't acknowledging it. Is this a known issue?
Please, oh random forces of Global Events, give us a Class 1 city next time, or a Class 2 that's a trifle out of the way. I'm not even trying to send stuff to Paris - the mimes are just seat fillers - and I'm still in the top 200. At Level 14 you can purchase the PearJet. With it you can finally make it across the Atlantic in a single flight (Recife - Lagos with no upgrades, Boston - Madrid with one distance upgrade). Once you can make that hop, just start buying cities and conquer the world!
I renamed my planes to different illnesses. So now I get notifications that say MUMPS arrived in Paris, h1n1 arrived in London. Just thought I'd share.
I'm starting to get blue and non-blue jobs for Paris now. That's sort of an odd bug. The regular jobs are for a statue of some sort.
LOL ... bet that's an interesting conversation starter when a friend happens to glance at your phone when the notification pops up.
In a sense yes, but also I am thinking for long term gains. I'm level 30 and I'm tired of running the daily bread, and want to shift to something else. That means leaving the game potentially. I'd rather have a huge goal to eek my way too than just quit the game because of boredom and lack of developer forethought.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Class 1 city please!!! I'm so sick of Paris, I thought we would be done at midnight (half an hour ago), but it's still going on for another 11.5 hrs ... sigh ...
Yea, those complaints are a about a page further back than you went. Most people are experiencing this, jobs can take a long time to update and a lot of the time they won't update at all. I've delivered 200+ jobs using only Seqiouas so I should have a number over 200 ending with a nice round 0; but no, I've apparently delivered 168. I was worried that I was going to need a class 3 city next, but I've managed to get the 4.8million I need for the next plane slot in two days. Wahey!
Hey Nimbletim What do you think to the idea of an event where if we Have to get as many people out of a city due to evacuation or something? So in effect you would have all your planes at one place to get them all to safety... Just an idea
