I can see them on my phone but they are only 1 (pocketplane) pixel. They seemed to sort of... glow. Quite hard to spot and I only get one or two in every ten mimes. Probably best if you don't see them.
Pretty sure it's a bug. If you watch the ones with 'normal' eyes, they go 'red' when they blink, then back to black. Either the other mines are asleep or they've just bugged out. I've done the buy airport to refresh job tricks 12 times on my last job loading (3 extra checks for every normal one) and I still do not get a job list update after closing an airport. Might just be me but that's my findings.
I'm really starting to tire of this game now. I'm level 30 and don't see any point in continuing. Haven't really played since getting the blimp. Not rewarded for last event and been stuck on 2 jobs since starting this one (I've done about 20). If there's no decent reward soon I'm gonna end up deleting. I need to find a new game to take up as much time as this used to.
I apologise! I wrongly assumed NimbleTim, your presence would probably be appreciated around about now - can you hint at anything for people getting bored with Pocket Planes to look forward to? New aircraft in the works perhaps? New cities? New in-game effects? New 'missions'? Anything?? When could we expect another update?
I wish there was better access to rare planes. A little quest for these planes or something. For example if you wanted a p40 war hawk, you need to deliver 2000 cargo to a military base in the USA from Germany? Just a thought , the world events have been slim pickings lately, single parts or not even a plane part. It shouldn't take months just to complete a rare plane..

Having planes or parts as rewards would certainly make it more interesting. Bux are easy enough to make.
So what you're saying is... you want rare planes to be more common? EDIT: Yay, all my planes are fully loaded and rea... ready to... Damnit they closed Seoul. Half of my planes can't move.
Not necessarily. If it was something like a few thousand jobs for a part then they're still gonna be quite hard to come by.
Ghost Passenger(s)!?! This hasn't been a problem for the past few months but they are back. Ghost passengers: Passengers who appear in green tops, usually sleeping on a plane when viewed in the airport window. In the jobs window, there is a blank spot. It has no name, destination, picture, or profit. This is the description of a ghost passenger. If you see one, the best thing to do is to put your plane in the hangar, then back out again. They CANNOT be unloaded. If there is more than one blank spot, do NOT press it. It will load another ghost passenger on board. They cant be unloaded, even if you fly to all airports. BEWARE OF THESE PASSENGERS! I will post a picture as soon as possible.
It would certainly be nice to have some as a reward for the local events, appropriately themed as you mention. Maybe a random local event that appears every so often "plane assembly in _____" that rewards a part after 1000 jobs. I hope those German planes you mentioned aren't going over armed... EDIT: I don't hold a lot of hope but I don't suppose anyone has a Bobcat Controls going spare?
