Currently have 6 areos (3p & 3c) sitting in Honolulu with 5/6 spaces filled all spaces will be filled with bux jobs. I'll get 360 bux for 5 days of waiting not bad....
Getting abit bored of the LA>NY>LON><Tehran<Beijing<TYO route. Anyone start up a sister route alongside this? Such as Buenos Aires>Rio>Lagos><Cairo<Karachi<Bangkok or something like that? Or will the amount of airports dilute the amount of jobs at hubs on both routes?
I got 15 (all class 3) airports which seem ok for the amount of jobs using Sequoias and Cyclones. The NA-EA route (LA-Chicago-NY<>Paris-London-Istanbul<>Shangai-Seoul-Tokyo) and a SA-EA route (Lima-Sao Paulo-Rio<>Lagos-Kinshasa<>Mumbai) I like it, not touched it in weeks. You can do NA-SA with it, Europe-SA direct if you upgrade range, Europe-Africa... The key is to identify which cities you're using for which layovers (London for NA/SA jobs vs Paris for Africa/Asia jobs for example) Cloudliners were too big for this setup though, hangared them
Agree with Vicsark above, you won't really notice a difference in jobs with 5-15 airports. Maybe around 20 it can be more noticeable but even then everything is still mostly run by lady luck. I used to run pretty much the same two routes. Don't forget your feeder cities in Asia can just be the same ones.
On level 23 now, added Moscow my 6th level 3 city. My next cities are going to be Quito, Athens, Prague, Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, Algiers, Timbuktu, Durban, Cape Town, Jakarta, Johannesberg, Melbourne, Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Las Vegas, Sao Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Amsterdam, Brussels,and Brasilia. That should take me to level 44.

I like that when you're bored you're still in the top ten (4th with 1780 jobs!) First at 4000 jobs already. Currently I'm 8th with 1400 but i'm not sure i'll keep up at this rate. It's really work lol! I still try to get the 25% bonus and work my usual routes on the side but it's pretty hard. I've had big traffic jams in the airports around Paris. At one point I had London at 80 layovers and Lagos and Istanbul at 75, what a mess!
Ugh. It so hard to keep up in events now... The highest I got was the London Olympics with 48th place. At the moment, Ive retired all my blimps and went back to the standard route of Honolulu - L.A - N.Y - Paris - Baghdad (for range for Aeroeagles and Equinox) - Delhi - Tokyo. I only have 5 planes as of now. I got bored with the blimps.As of now, I am ranked 333rd n the flight crew. :/ How do you people keep up with these events !?!?! P.S : I have 1 Cyclone, 2 Aeroeagles, and 2 Equinox's (The Equinox's are just for layovers mostly.)
29 planes do help. It's fun bit it takes a looooot of time. And then you dream of Mimes, dozens of them all sitting next to each other in planes, staring at you with their big red eyes...
And you weren't kidding about going for the Top 10! I still have jobs traveling on the Main Route between Tokyo (Beijing, Seoul, Shanghai) and Los Angeles. It's actually inconvenient to send jobs to Paris, it disrupts the flow of things. I'm toying with the idea of keeping a Cloudliner in my hub cities to serve as "layover overflow".
What are these red eyes I keep hearing you guys mention? I'm not seeing them on my Mimes. I'm playing on my phone. Maybe they're easier to see on the bigger iPad screen?
I made it to #15 and don't think I'll get any farther. It was one thing when the places are separated by ten to twenty jobs, but now I see two hundred between places and I can't manage the time to do that. I'll probably just go to a thousand jobs and call it quits. I still consider this a success as my previous best was six hundred jobs and I think 48th place.
