Couldn't they just change how they count jobs for each crew? Say only count the jobs of the 100-500 crew members with the most jobs? That would even the playing field for everyone. This isn't my idea, someone else mentioned it in an earlier post. The camo and soldiers idea is awesome! I'm lame and usually just randomize the colors until I get a combo that looks decent.
Seriously... if you make your own flight crew with just you and you the 50 jobs, will you get the winner prize or what...? Then again, it pretty much is cheating.
Possibly, but it won't be me! I hadn't intended to work the Miami event so hard, but sometimes I get so blasted competitive... worked my way up yesterday from #14 to finish at #7. Took me just a few Cyclone/Sequoia runs to get the 50 in Paris, and now I'll just deliver there if I need some seat fillers. Class 2 cities require a little strategy, but Class 3? Meh. Instead, I'm using the Aero C's to load up on layovers and Kangaroo/Mohawk C's to deliver some rather suspicious cakes to Calgary and Sendai. Just be grateful we don't have to work clown festivals. Yet.
No, your ranking within the crew, beyond having 50 jobs, is irrelevant. The ranking of the crew is what determines your prize.
For the Paris event, I'm trying to get in the top 10, my main hub being Paris/London helps. Not sure I'll have time to compete next week but I'll try! Currently 10th with 413 jobs, just went pas Exitar at 12th. 6th is 611 jobs Btw I really want SEa Knight parts, so i'm trying to jumpstart a PP game on my girlsfriend's iPhone to try to get 50 jobs there for the TA crew too! Do you guys have a second account for the global events?

Planes loading at 9/10 and not giving me the 25% bonus when I force them full is really driving me mad now, I had 5 planes do that on my last run, but the game didn't crash once so that's apparently not the cause. On the other hand I found a new bug, my planes were all about half-full (couple less, couple more) and I have one Seq-P doing Tehran-Paris for the event. Now the next time I cycled through the job refresh, about 10 of my planes all had one of their jobs replaced with a job for paris, so one of the loaded cargo/passengers had been replaced by a loaded Paris mime/prop. The super-weird thing was that not a single one was for the right amount. They had all kept the Payment from the job they replaced. I had a plane in Tokyo with a mime onboard paying 1,191 coins (LA fare) but wanting to go to Paris. It was nuts! And more importantly cost me another job refresh. Managed to send my planes out 5 times yesterday (normally I do get the out 3 times in a day, occasionally 4) but today I'm barely going to squeeze in 2, very busy. EDIT: Hey, the mimes don't have red ey- OH WHAT THE-? I see by Football you mean American Football.
I'm a football(soccer) fan too, but the Bitizens traveling to the Football Finals events are dressed like American Football players with helmets and shoulder pads, not shorts and shin guards. Also, the event should have been Search and Rescue in New Orleans...or a Diving Trip event
The roads down here are still closed due to flooding. But that would make a good event. Some type of rescue plane... maybe the Hercules...

World Events. This is the reason I'm starting to lose interest in the events now as well. Once a route is set up, it becomes tedious to work it for the whole 3 days for no real gain other than to say you were in the top 10. Mystery parts keep it fresh and make working a route more fun and interesting. It would be good if Nimblebit could reward the top player or top 3 players within a flight crew an entire aircraft rather than just a part. This would add extra incentive to work hard at a boring class 3 city event. So far nobody seems to favour them as much as class 1 and 2 events. I prefer class 2 personally. Since we have such high competition, some people who are only in Touch Arcades crew for the heck of it, may just change to a smaller flight crew as fighting for a top 1 - 3 place would be slightly easier. There would have to be an extra thing in place to stop people simply starting a flight crew with 3 people to gain the reward though. Perhaps so you have to deliver 500-1,000 jobs minimum? Talking of which, that could be a different way of going about keeping events interesting - anyone who completes over 1,000 jobs receives much more bux than those who only complete 50 jobs. Anyway... Contrary to what I previously said about wishing to place in the top 10, I didn't really play anymore after the 1st day of setting it all up! So... I placed 11th. lol. If I'd played those 2 days, I have no doubt that I could of ended up 1st / in the top 3. And if coastcat hadn't found his competitive streak, I'd be 10th so thanks coastcat! Haha I saw you wiz by me from out of nowhere yesterday, well done! Even though I have Paris, I'm not going to work this event. If I play in the next 3 days, I might send a Cyclone there but it bores me so... Trying to save my interest for when a rare plane event comes along! Edit: Well done on a pole position too Faye!
Her competitive streak, actually. Is it just me, or is something not quite right with the individual events? I had two prison breaks going on, with the Sendai one scheduled to end tonight at 8pm US Eastern and the Calgary one ending tomorrow. Both ended at the same time tonight, so all those layover "suspicious cakes" sitting in Chicago are for naught. I thought some prior events had ended early, too, but this is the first time I was certain.
achievements bugs Have these been sorted out yet? I just reset mine but the 500 cargo delivered hasn't unlocked. The 1,000 and 10,000 cargo achievements did unlock. The transatlantic one worked after the reset though.
I have finished 39 of 45 individual events and the time does change occasionally. Usually I find it's when there are two of the same event in two locations, like you were describing. Also, for anyone doing individual events, some are only passenger and some are only cargo. You can still send the other to the city, but it won't count toward your 1000. Hmm... hadn't thought of that. Certainly sounds tempting! Just bounce Bux jobs between Honolulu and Tokyo... I've had 7 planes sitting idle for over a day, I can easily assign one ore more to this task. Not that I'm in any great need of Bux ... I'm sitting on nearly 14k Bux LOL
