How long does it usually take for us to receive the rewards? I participated in the Elvis Convention in Trondheim but didn't receive anything. Same with the Miami event.
Make sure you are in a flight crew, such as Toucharcade, that placed high enough to receive the reward and make sure you delivered the goal of 50 jobs. It can take a couple hours to receive your reward sometimes. Once you have a route that expands from places like LA to Tokyo, the bux jobs are worth more like 8 or 9 bux. So you can make more per job and we probably have more planes in the air which means more bux jobs being delivered. I started gaining more and more bux after lvl 22-24 once I had gotten my sequoias.
I'm level 44 ... coins/Bux aren't such a big deal at this point. At your level, you should try to build up your Bux by picking up Bux jobs whenever you see them. Make judicious purchases of planes and plane parts. You probably won't want to buy each plane you unlock as you level up. (I'd skip Pearjet, Tetra, Equinox and Fogbuster). You don't need to spend Bux to do all 9 plane upgrades (I do 3x weight, upgrade range only as needed, and skip the speed upgrade)
What's been going on? It seems like nimble bit change the events to give out nothing but parts only to everyone regardless of rank. No mystery parts, nothing for quite some time. Has this happened before or is it something new? Definitely removes the will to participate in events.
Currently I have 1 seq-m tgat i got from a trade I use to go from new York to Paris and the rest are aero eagles
Congratulations! I've only got studying for three exams over autumn/winter, not particularly worried about getting through the content. Spring/Summer however I'll have two papers to write, that's going to prove interesting. I hate writing haha Those wondering about the prizes being similar and everyone getting the parts or similar or same rewards it's a balancing act on Nimblebits part to reduce the amount of people flocking to TA because it takes all the challenge and purpose out of the events leaderboard. I think for the most part they're doing the best they can, it's an awkward situation that I don't really think they can fix while still being fair to everyone. Takes the challenge out for us but puts it back for everyone else. I wonder if the planes like Concorde and Hercules are going to be insanely rare, like once a year ridiculous rare? EDIT: Holy moly, anyone watching the F1?
London closed. Two planes stuck there and my Aeroeagles and Pearjets stuck in NA for an hour. Time to do a load of laundry.
Do you have good ideas for longstraight routes that will earn me some $$$? I'm currently lvl 29 and flying: 2 Cyclone M: New York -> Istanbul -> Beijing 2 Cyclone M: Beijing -> Istanbul -> New York 1 Sequia M + 1 Aeroeagle M feeding from Tokyo 1 Sequia M + 1 Aeroeagle M feeding from Chicago 1 Sequia M (buxplane) + Maineventplanes My cities: Chicago, New York, London, Paris, Istanbul, Beijing, and Tokyo.
Every one of my pilots has a different costume, and the planes are painted to match. Apart from my event planes which are all camo paint (greens and browns) with Soldier pilots.
If you create your own flight crew, do a few jons, do you still get the number one prize or is that cheating, or will it just not work?
I've made hundreds of flights over the Atlantic, but still don't have that achievement. I remember this was an issue early on. Has this not been fixed?
I know right. I was enjoying them while I did the Honolulu challenge. It's almost worth opening it back up and leaving an aero there to grab any bux jobs
