I guess that it will be in the middle of nowhere, a class 1 airport, not entirely sure where though. The Nome region makes sense because we haven't had an event up there and there are no class 2 or 3 airports near it. If not I'm still sticking with my feeling of Central America, like Cancun or Panama City.
Murmansk? Definitely will be for 50 bux. I don't hold much hope for the Concorde. It's still too heavy to go so fast. Besides the real thing was shutdown, so it's gotta be weak xD
We've done Vancouver and Calary, so if it's in that corner of the world, I'd think it would be further NW of there. It would certainly be interesting and challenging since the nearest Class 3 would be LA or Chicago. Yeah, I'm hoping for a Class 1 airport in the middle of nowhere. I think you want to vacation in Cancun!
I would definitely enjoy that, but I'd save it until January for when its freezing cold. I keep guessing that one because there hasn't been an event in that area, so it makes sense. I really wish I had good planes and put time into the London event, I only came out with one mystery part and a blimp, a blimp event would be cool (but after the Sea Knight and Concorde events.)
That would be a challenge, the closest airport is Lima which only a 10% range upgraded Blimp and Mohawk, and regular Supergopher can reach. That would be a fun event.
Holy crap somebody has been busy ... Just looked at Chicago #1 spot ... 10,490 jobs delivered! Ooooh, Easter Island would be a good one cuz I haven't started that achievement yet. I remember using my 3x upgraded Blimps to take jobs from Perm to Norilsk. It was a little painful to upgrade class 1 planes, knowing that the upgrades will be lost when they are returned to the Hangar.
It looks logical that they'll implement events in all the GC awards/achievements cities. They already did events in a few (Honolulu, mAhajanga...) We need challenge
no they don't lose the upgrades anymore since the last upgrade About 500 jobs done in the Chicago event (174th). I'm not pushing it, just the usual rotation as Chicago is one of my 15 airports. Hey NimbleTim, the idea of having more often mystery parts to spice up the events, but with non rare plane parts, looks good to me! Will you consider it? The treasure hunt of goodies is fun in itself!
Opened Easter Island just for fun so I have an advantage I guess? Also, how long does it usually take for a new global event to start after the previous one has ended? Anyone know? I also learned that to get more jobs faster, advertise your airport and upgrade it (if its a Class 1 and you wont use it) so if you run multiple planes, it'll be easier to get them out faster with more jobs. As you may know, I am quite slow when it comes to this. It took me a month to figure out what a feeder was...
You won't see the new global event in the Events listing right away, but click on Flight Crew and it's there immediately. I quit Chicago at 391 jobs, yawn. Right now I have my small planes running two local events and the big ones lying in wait for the next global. How about a Class 1 airport in South America this time - La Paz, perhaps? There have only been 2 global events in SA, so we're due.

For me, after the event ends the flight crew page says "new event will begin shortly" for a minute or two but after about 20 seconds it tells me the place in the events. After that it shows the prizes
