has everybody got the prize from the last event yet? i havent seen anything pop up on my game yet

 

I got my bux from it yesterday.

 

You all know a lot more about planes than I do, I had to do a Google search to find out more about these planes. LOL

 

Well I've made the Top 100 and have delivered 2455 jobs to Delhi, meeting the minimum requirement. Not gonna make much more progress during the remainder of the event as I will be out enjoying the sun and playing tour guide to house guests. Like Spidubic, I may have to cut back on future flight crew events, so I have more time for real life.

 

Going to stop also. Number 1 is 2100+ jobs ahead of me . I'll just do my usual route to get to level 28. Have fun with your house event

 

I just put my 6 Cloudliners in the hangar and it feels goooood!
They were such a pain filling up, with the M leaving imbalances.
I hesitated for a long time as they were fully upgraded (-speed) and did cost 730 Bux each, but it's way easier whithout them!
I've replaced them with special planes (starships, blimps, sea knights) dedicated to bux jobs only

 

Very nice rare planes . Did you add a few Cloudliner-C with your Cloudliner-M?

 

I had 3 Cloudliners M, 2 C and 1 P to deal with the M imbalance. they've each done about 300 trips and now are retired
Not sure I'll use them again tbh, perhaps if the max layovers goes up?

 

Has anybody had a computer failure in one of they're airports

 

I had one in Cairo, it lasted 24 hours and I had 4 planes grounded there.

 

You can put those planes into the hangar and then bring them out in another city, if you really need the planes.

I've got 3 planes grounded in London due to fog, darn it.

Sitting at #44 with 797 jobs, but I'm bored with this event. I prefer the ones in remote class 1 airports - there's more challenge to that than to loading up Sequoias and Cyclones for direct flights. I'm focusing more on an individual event in Vienna, although two of my four Kangaroos are stuck in that London fog right now...

EDIT: Well played, NimbleBit. Istanbul just shut down for an hour-long snow storm, stranding two more of my planes. Maybe I should go do something else for a while!

Yes, I have the mime festival in Vienna ending at 8pm US Eastern. I've occasionally wondered if everyone gets the same non-global events. Right now I have the air museum opening in Naples, chemical spill in Volgograd, and tourist boom in Jerusalem as well as the mime festival; all are ending at the same time, which is unusual.

Oh dear, I've dropped to #46 for Delhi. Do I resist the urge to try to move up the ranks?

 

P/C Cloudliners imbalance is preventing me from upgrading. Imbalance vs Cloudliners range . I'm hoping for an increase in layovers. 60 just isn't enough

Right now I see:

Naples - computer failure - 4 hr 30 min (5am Pacific, 8am Eastern)
Tiksi - chick-con - 4 hr 30 min

Algiers - science fair - 16 hr 30 min (5pm Pacific, 8pm Eastern)
San Jose - dino theme park - 16 hr 30 min

Not me way back at around 450 jobs, which is pretty good due to the amount of time I've spent away from my iPod (a lot.) I'll likely try harder in the next event, if I get time.
