    Most profitable flight?

I was just curious on everyone's most profitable flights.

Mine is currently 40,362 on a Cloudliner-M Seoul to Tokyo after collecting all the cargo and passengers from NA.

I was trying to reach top 100 in game center but this brought me only to #230.

EDIT: I just added Honolulu to the mix for this project only. I only had LA before. I think Honolulu to Tokyo is the farthest possible distance so it should be the highest profit. I will collect 12 ppl and 5 cargo to Seoul and deliver to Tokyo using fully upgraded cloudliner and see what position I'm in then.

Start investing in class 3 (red) airports but not too much because you should add plane slots as well. Use Aeroeagles but try to save up for the Fogbusters. They will really help you level up fast. I'm level 23 now and I've leveled up fast because of Fogbusters. How often do you play btw? How often do you check PP daily?

If you're crazy enough or you lack the bux you can skip the Fogbusters and go straight Sequoias. Sequoias are great because of the profit and long flight hours. I would've skipped the Fogbusters myself but I found the 2600 range to be too irresistible because I like to space out my airports.

I can't even reach half of your profit. Mine is only 15,711

I've been reading this since level 5 http://pocketplaneswiki.com/List_of_Planes. I often wondered why people love the Sequoia eventhough it only has 190 speed while other planes it its class have 300 speed. But now that I use Sequoias I adore them. Profit + less time to check PP FTW.

How about upgrading planes? Any opinions?

Range upgrade is the most used. Weight comes second. And never upgrade speed, faster means less profit per flight and you ought to check PP more often.

What level are you right now? I personally don't advice upgrading planes early in the game because you'll need a lot of bux to purchase the better and more expensive planes later. Some players upgrade the Pearjet and Aeroeagle range to make the New York -> Paris leap on their North America -> Europe route.

I've upgraded a few Mohawks and Birchcrafts and now they're just rusting in the hanger :(

Faye's advice to me when I asked a similar question. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2389732&postcount=6121

    Hmmm.
    I am currently level 20 with;
    Aegoeagle 2 P , 1 C
    Pearjet 3 C , 1 P,
    Fogbuster 1 P , 2 M

My route is LA > NY > London > Cairo > Karachi > Dhaka > Shanghai > Seoul
and I'm doing Kinshasa events too.

Which planes to upgrade for best profits? or I should save my bux for the later planes?

    Thank you!!! :D

Ooooooh. I thought you were only level 6-10 lol. I don't think I'm qualified to help you out because I'm also new to the game. I'm barely level 23 and my knowledge is dwarfed by most of the regular posters here

You already have a very nice network of level 3 airports. I'd go with more plane slots. Nothing wrong with getting more profit.

Try to save up bux for Sequoias. Sequoia in my game earn 1200-1700 more than my Fogbusters in the profit/hour logs menu.

Upgrading range will only impact profits if the increase allows your plane to take a straighter route to its final destination, so it is only valuable in certain cases. I can't remember the URL by if you google "pocket planes tool" you'll find a website by a guy named something odd rusty something I forget but he has put together several simple tools which will allow you to see if upgrading range is profitable.

Upgrading your weight will always improve profits and the impact varies with the type of plane. The tool I mentioned above also will be able to show you this impact for each plane. Just look it up or I can post it later( I'm positive someone else has already posted it here before though). Play around on that site for a bit, it is quite useful once you figure it out.

Just keep in mind bigger planes get ridiculously more expensive.

When you get there click on games and the first post will be about pocket planes. There will be a link to the tools at the bottom.

London is now closed for me, during the whole event I haven't gotten any closures which is nice but I have two key planes grounded in there :( there's about 40 minutes until it opens and 1 hour and 40 minutes until the new event.

Currently in about 44th place, just waiting to see if I will complete my goal of the top 50.

London and Paris closed at the same time? Oh, NimbleBit, what evil lurks in your electronic heart?

Still hanging in there at #88 overall for the Kinshasa event, and that's with only 306 jobs. I was expecting much higher numbers for an event in a L3 airport. I got bored with sending Sequoias there, and switched to running individual events in L1 airports.

That's weird. London is closed in my game as well. Are well all synched with regards to these events?

I've only Fogbusters and Sequoias at the moment. There was that moment in the game where I felt I was doing so well because I had 600+ bux but after upgrading to Sequoias I'm now dirt poor :(. Save up for those high level planes because they are expensive.

You're gonna need a whole lot more Bux to buy future plane parts (and upgrade their range/weight). Try to pick up Bux jobs when you can and don't be tempted to spend them all right away.

    The Sequoia costs 24 Bux per part & 24 Bux to build = 24x4 = 96 Bux
... or 141 Bux to buy the plane

I like my Sequoias (a must have) more than my Fogbusters (which I could do without).
