For the nome-Wellington achievement do you have to go nome-wellington or can you go Wellington to nome?
My preferred South America to Asia route is: Rio - Kinshasa - Mumbai - Seoul (Beijing/Shanghai/Tokyo) Since you already have Lagos, you might do: Rio - Lagos - Karachi - Beijing ... because you want your route to be close to a straight line for better profit. Your AeroEagle can't make Lima-Lagos, however that hop can be done with Fogbuster, Sequoia, Cyclone, Cloudbuster. For NY to Asia, your AeroEagle can do this route: NY - London - Tehran - Beijing/Shanghai/Seoul (Tokyo is too far from Tehran for your AeroEagle to make it) I've been playing since the game came out and I'm not even a quick leveler.. I'm sure there are others who are much higher level.
Since plane slots are level+5, they are effectively infinite. When you get to the 20-30th slot, they become prohibitively expensive, because of the formula used.
Your plane slots are maxed at "level + 5" so a Level 10 can have up to 15 planes, a level 20 can have up to 25 planes.
A lot of London-Paris flights. The profit/hour probably went down because I'm trying to do the Apollo achievement. Sorry for dbl post, I'm using the app. EDIT: Now it's -9000.
Thanks! I'm wondering if I should concentrate on just 1 route right now. Should I sell LA, Mexico & Lima for now so I can concentrate on the Rio to Asia route?
Around the World on a Blimp! Going for the Nome-Wellington acheivement tonight and decided to do it with a bit of flair. Using the a fully upgraded blimp and here is the route: Nome-Anchorage-Seattle-Chihuahua-Panama City-Teresina-Dakar-Casablanca-London-Reykjavik-Oslo-Bucharest-Kuwait City-Delhi-Sinagpore-Port Hedland-Sydney-Wellington Certainly not a direct route, but thought it would be a nice touch to hit all six regions in one flight. Total Flight Time: 11H 15Min Profit: $10,143 (gotta love the blimp ) On a side note, option to boost the flight to destination was 121 bux.
My taxi service (deliver 500 passengers) achievement has been stuck at 95% ever since I started the game and got it to that point. I have passed 500 passengers and have the People Mover achievement (1000 passengers)
A lot of achievements are broken, and the only suggested solution is to reset them. I've done that once already and most achievements re-trigger quickly, but you'll have to re-do the Barrow, Easter Island etc. achievements if you had closed the airports after the first time around. I passed 10M airline value long ago but the Flying Giant achievement will not trigger for me. I don't really want to reset them again and do Barrow, Tiksi, etc. a third time (and especially since those awards are broken in a different way). So for now I'm waiting to see if the next release will fix these problems. I've actually completed all 36 achievements, but because of the bugs, I've only ever seen 32 of them recorded at any one time.
Yeah I had one job going to Wellington and three to Sydney. Would've been nice to have all four going to Wellington, but I'm not that patient.
Hi everyone. For example I have a LA > NY - London - Tehran - Beijing < Seoul set-up. LA bringing Beijing jobs to NY while on the other side Seoul bringing NY jobs to Beijing. When full a plane travels NY - London - Tehran - Beijing for one big fat job check My question is what do you do when a Seoul job pops up in LA? Ignore it and just fly Beijing jobs? Thanks
You could use London and Tehran as hubs which would allow you to not waste any jobs going to Seoul or LA.
There are some bugs with the individual events. Twice (at least) I've started work on events that were supposed to last 24 hours but stopped after 12. I think I will now assume that no individual event lasts more than 12 hours, and plan my job deliveries accordingly.
Only 50 minutes left with the Wellington event, I'm really hoping the next event is in a class three airport in either europe or Asia. I have been waiting for a Paris event for a while, I would love to see one. But any class 3 airport event would be great.
I would think the next one should be since the last few have been class one and two. Then again who knows. It should be for a rare plane.
