I'm having a serious problem where the game is stuck in a loading from iCloud screen. Is there anyway out this? I'm a bit panicked. I'm level 30 and have put a ton of time into the game.
Well, I've tried everything I can, and it looks like I can't get the game going. Looks like I'll have to start again. It seems 1.04 doesn't fix this bug...
True that! The Bux are way too easy to collect in game for them to make real Bucks from in app purchases! Good for us but they deserve reward for this great game
Your save should be on their servers so when reinstalling you should get back your level 30 game (but I won't try it to be sure!)
I hope there is something that can be done. It's just stuck on "Loading from icloud" and won't leave that screen. I've tried a number of things to get it working, but it only resets to a new game. When I turn the icloud sync back on, I'm stuck with the "loading from icloud" again. This is a terrible game breaking bug. I played Pocket Frogs for two year and Tiny Tower for over one and never came across a bug like this.

Do you guys know how long it takes before the games adds a new Game Center friend that plays Pocket Planes?I added a friend of mine to Game Center and he plays Pocket planes, but he doesn't appear in the parts menu(where you can gift parts). Any ideas?
I added my little brother and he was in my parts gifting list immediately after he accepted my request. Make sure your friend has accepted your request, if that's not the case, I would try fully closing the game.
I bought 200 bux as a way of paying for the app, exactly the same as Tiny Tower (although difference being you really don't need to buy any in PP). Only way I buy IAP in 'freemium' games is to support the dev, recently bought some flooz on Happy Street which I'm loving. So my current set-up is 10 airports, two routes, no hub airports and a maximum of 32 sequoias (16 P, 16 C). I currently only have 16 Sequoias, sometimes held back by the cost of plane slots (I keep two spare for event planes) and sometimes by my awful Market luck (I went 3 days with zero sequoia parts, of any kind). I'll be replacing CH with NY, as to my stupidity I didn't even realise what I'd done, NY used to be my hub so I automatically closed it. I use London instead of Paris at the moment as none of my sequoias are upgraded, but the plan is to eventually upgrade then all with 3xrange and 3xweight and then I'll use Paris again. LA,CH(NY) <- London, Tehran -> Tokyo, Seoul SP, BA <- Kinshasa, Mumbai -> Tokyo Seoul I can never quite balance out my hubs properly, since I didn't bother setting planes to certain routes and I'm always annoyed by having to fly a plane to a hub before flying it out (I like to send all planes at once and return in 2 hours time) so I decided to wipe them out completely, planes just sit in the destination waiting for jobs and then when they are all full they all fly (it's so pretty!). This means I have only 10 airports (not including events) which hopefully improves the job pool, I've essentially removed 4 airports. The planes go between two specific airports and are paired. So I have pairs of 1P/1C going for example BA <-> TK BA <-> SE SP <-> TK SP <-> SE But there's 2 in BA and 2 in TK at the same time so that's 4 planes each, so 16 in total on the SA route. Similarly for the NA route. It takes a maximum of 3 hours to fill them up and send them out, and that's only if I miss most of the job refreshes, checking every 4m they should fill in 30mins on a bad day. Then just under a 2h flight time for the slowest plane. I'm getting between 350k-500k at the moment with only 16 planes in service (haven't sent a full load without bux), so theoretically I could get 1mil every 3 hours with this strategy. So that could be 5mil a day (never will use it that much) Speaking of bux, I usually ignore the fly-through airports and just pick up bux for the destinations, so I'm never carrying less than a 7 bux item, usually 8 or 9 and that's still getting me a nice amount total each day. Definitely one of the slowest plans, and it requires a 20m-30m dedication every 2h-3h but it fits my play style (slow, less checking) and time management (can't be watching it all the time) perfectly. It also means even if I only check in on PP once or twice a day I still make a nice amount of profit. If I played more regularly (cyclones, feeders-hubs) I'd very quickly get bored of the game. Now, please, hit me with your cruelest critique! Nah just kidding, thought I'd just share my current plan. I obviously started with the all-sequoia plan, which is an absolute belter of an idea, hats off to that. Oh and events, only done 50 jobs in this one, but on the last event I actually ended up #67 in the crew, so I guess my jobs done hadn't updated until I closed the app, very surprised I didn't get knocked out. Hopefully the next event is for a plane, I'm just after the C-130; somebody posted a very tempting idea of replacing all the sequoias with them...
If I move Spy Docs to Wellington, am I correct in thinking they don't count as jobs for the event since they're not in blue? Apologies if this has been answered.

I'm level 41 now and can have a max of 46 plane slots (level + 5) ... But I only have 25 planes right now, and 2 of them are sitting on the sidelines. I effectively have 23 planes because I don't fly the other 2. These 2 Aeroeagles just sit idle at an airport. I try to reduce the total number of airports but keep buying and selling as new flight crew events come up. For Salvador, I re-bought Rio, Sao, Kinshasa and Mumbai. Then I sold all 5 after the event. Job pool improved after that. For Wellington, I only needed to buy Wellington and re-buy Sydney, so not as much impact on the job pool compared to Salvador. I'm not having trouble filling my planes, my planes are only grounded because I don't return to the game for hours. Took a break from the game today, so not much progress.
Level 41 !? Crazy high . How long have you been playing? Need some help. My cities are LA, Mexico, Lima, Buenos Aires, Rio & Lagos. Can anyone please share a cookie-cutter route from LA/New York going to Asia or a basic Buenos Aires/Rio to Asia using Aeroeagles. I can at most buy 2-3 more airports and I can upgrade some range on Aeroeagles. Thanks Have a great day everyone!
Nice! It's good to have options. Maybe I'll start Nome-Wellington this week. I know I've got a few Supergophers from the early days ... And sadly even have a bunch of extra parts from the Market and thus two or more Supergophers ready to build. bought the parts when I thought I might want more, but then leveled up and decided there were better planes to be had.
What region did you guys start off in? I started off in Europe. Does anyone know If there is a max number of plane slots you can get?
I don't bother with upgrading Kangaroos or Birchcrafts. Although you may want to upgrade range on your Birchcraft if you intend to hop from South America to Africa (Rio to Lagos, for example) I think Bux are better spent on upgrading the larger planes (Aeroeagles and better), although I did have to upgrade range on my Blimp to reach Norilsk for the flight crew event. I only upgrade range and weight. Upgrade speed if you want to shorten trip time at the expense of profit.
