Norilsk is in the middle of nowhere! New Flight Crew Event: Norilsk How are y'all getting to Norilsk? My 3x range upgraded Blimp just barely makes it from Perm to Norilsk ... and that leg takes 58 minutes! Moscow <> Perm <> Norilsk takes 1 hr 24 min And then the little blimp needs to make the return trip back
Using a few upgraded blimps to fly from Perm to Norilsk. Might buy Warsaw to connect with the rest of Europe. Need 40 jobs for the bux this time.
I'm using upgraded Mohawks to make it from Perm to Norilsk, they are quicker than the blimp things but they only take 3 cargo/passengers. I've got three going at present, but will take another one out of the hanger I think. Has anyone got the award from Vancouver yet? Thanks

Yes, I received the Vancouver reward not long after the event closed. I've heard that it can take a few hours for some people to receive theirs. I've decided to try 2 Kangaroos Moscow-Perm and 2 Blimps Perm-Norilsk. Haven't decided whether I should add another pair to the route. And I have another plane brining in layovers to Moscow in case there isn't enough when my plane lands cuz I don't really want to sit there too long waiting to fill it up.

I have 2 games running, 1 using london/istanbul , warsaw, perm, norilsk the other using Tehran, perm, norilsk both use fully upgraded mohawks and Blimps, is possible with Supergopher but they are s***
Novosibirsk to Norilsk is better if you're just making an independent route. You can make it with unupgraded blimp and upgraded sea knight. Plus Novosibirsk is a 1.5M city. Did everyone just follow what the first guy did and not do any research themselves? lol.
The thing is, my airlines are based in europe and it is easier for me to do that, plus warsaw is 2.6 mil population
I did mind at 4am this morning without looking at the forum. Went from Norilsk towards London. Perm and Warsaw may not be the best route but it works. Not shooting for top numbers.
I'd only do the 2-city self-contained route if I had no other choice. I did this once when I first started playing PP, based in Europe with only a handful of cities and very little resources (coins, Bux, planes). Bought Calgary & Edmonton as 2 self-contained cities. The job pool was horrible and it took forever to load my one plane going in either direction. I already had established airports in London/Paris so it was easier to extend thru Moscow toward Norilsk and use feeders. Still slow going. I've ranked in the Top 50 in previous flight crews (and as high as #4 in San Diego & #11 in London), I think it is time to let others have a shot at those top slots this time.
