I found a something that may help those using layover strategies. It's possible to go above the layover limit for your cities. All you need to do is load a non-layover passenger onto your plane, then unload all by holding down the button for unload on that passenger. It will unload everything, including any P/C that will go over the layover limit. Very helpful since you can pretty much store an infinite amount of layovers at your airports. NimbleTim if you read this I know this should be fixed. But can we have an alternative for those of us that work with large amounts of layovers? The layover limit is very annoying when you have 59/60 layovers and in comes an almost full plane forcing you to unload and load one at a time. Someone suggested that maybe you can go over the layover limit but all planes are grounded until you go under it again. That would work great. Thanks!
It would be great if layovers could be increased to 100. There have been so many times when I had 58/60 (or more) and have to juggle one by one on/off plane, or fly an empty plane to the airport to use as "extended" layover spots.
When I get to this point, I scroll down my list and start to delete the lowest profit layovers from the terminal. That opens up slots so you can unload a plane. That's a lot better than losing profit on an empty flight.
I actually disagree with this. I come up against the 60 layover limit every now and then, but I think that's part of the gameplay. I have to figure out how to get out of the mess I've just gotten into, by re-routing planes etc. to clear out the backlog. That's a more interesting puzzle than just mindless unloading and reloading without consequence.
NimbleTim, I don't think I received the Blimp prize either. I managed to deliver a few mystery parts to build one though. My ID is NB:BUNBQEX. Thanks in advance for checking!
I'm still not sure what to put blimps on, what is everyone else using them for? Right now I have 3 flying between Lima and Easter Island for the achievement. I have enough to make another 3 more but not sure what to do with them after the achievement. I have the airports that are in Pezmage's sequoia method. -Ben
I have 3 Blimps (and sometimes also a Sea Knight) flying between LA and Vancouver doing global event jobs. 332 so far.
Showing as received. I can resend it but just want to make sure you are not sharing a Game Center account since that can cause it not to go through. Same as the response to green_paper.
Hi- only have the 1 account being used for my iPad and IPhone. Definitely not on any other or anyone else's devices. Thanks
NibbleTim: I have one account but two devices, I am going to assume that a save didn't happen to iCloud and it was lost? NB: Mquvfx Can it be restored? Thanks, MH
Anybody know which plane can use in place of the sea knight for shuttling cargo around and picking up bux jobs? It is good at what it does, but now that I've expanded over to Europe and Africa, it's range is causing problems because I have to do a long detour to the south and then up the east coast just to get to Africa for the Sea Knight. I've grabbed an airport so that the sea knight can make the trip, but I'm still wondering what I can use to replace it.
Just wondering if there are any other games like pocket planes and tiny tower? Also Nimbletim are there any games of this type in the making?
Doing an all Blimp route from North America to Australia. Ten Airports in all include : Washington D.C., Caracas, Fortaleza, Bamako, Al Fashir, Muscat, Rangoon, Palu, Mount Isa, Sydney. Washington D.C -> Sydney route with a fully upgraded blimp takes about 6 hours. It good because I dont feel like checking in ever so often. I dont want to do the all sequoia route because Ive opened almost every Class 3 airport and Im getting bored of them for some reason. On a side note: NimbleTim, do you think you could, oh I dont know, take in the suggestion of "Voice Over". Its simple. Like in a normal airport, someone reads out the flight that is boarding, arriving, or taking off. It should only be specific to where only you are playing the game, not browsing anything or setting it down to charge. How does that sound?
