Just wait. Sometimes it takes a while for some people. I haven't gotten mine yet either, but I've always gotten the prize for every other event. Be patient and enjoy your blimp when it arrives!

Takes 25 jobs to get the prize this time. Not 5.

Just got my blimp reward so I now have 7. Going to retire my Kangaroos and use the blimps as my class 1 plane. Also pulling all my Aeroeagles and the two Cyclones I have flying and going all Sequoias for a while. Maybe pair down the number of planes I have flying. With Tiny Tower updated and playing Rift again I don't have the time to devote to PPs. I managed to place 73 in the last event and that took a lot of time checking and getting planes in the air. Pretty sure for me to crack the top 10 it will have to be an event that no once cares about and I would still have to put a lot of time into it.

I like the idea of upping the jobs. But doing it when it's a Bux reward seems iffy. After all the London/Blimp burnout, it will interesting to see what kind of turnout this event gets. It will also be interesting to see how many people don't notice the change in minimum jobs and miss out.

As Spidubic mentioned, I think he's talking about the new Event.

Best method for Vancouver for Sequoias Only

Just wondering how people are managing the Vancouver event. I am using the "Only Sequoias" method posted earlier in this thread, so I have Lima as probably the closest city. Is it worthwhile to connect up to Vancouver, or to do something more localized?

I will only be getting my one blimp from the London event.

Thanks for this great thread, it's been filled with insightful and great comments!

with the London event done and trying to keep up in the top 100, Ive decided Ill just kind of take it slow and replace my entire fleet with the Blimps Ive earned.

Awesome! Blimps can cover the entire NA and SA so you could run a continuous string of blimps up and down and round and round.

Plus, no matter what you do, you barely loose any profit! I love the blimps! :D

    Nice ;)

Finished 126th with about 1600 jobs done and...
13 Blimps thks to trades (still one engine shy of my 14th)
I think I'll put them up all in the air when I won't have time to play PP more than once or twice a day. :)

the easter hunt of mystery parts to a class 3 airport was fun indeed!

Im running the Sequoia route as well, its actually pretty easy to get a lot of jobs up there. I have seven blimps running up the west coast, I thi k I opened LA, San Fran, Seattle and Vancouver. Additionally I set two Seauoias aside to just collect Vancouver jobs and drop them off in LA to keep my blimps constantly full. I also upgraded LA to the max and have advertising running in Vancouver, so I may not end up needing the feeder Sequoias.

Overkill for 40 bux? Absolutely, but my file is to the point where more income is meaningless so the global events are the only things keeping me playing.

Did anybody get the final top 10 count for the London event
#1 over 12,000 jobs whooo, time for a break. Currently running a Europe Asia Aeroeagle route helped with that.

12,000! Did you sleep at all this past week? LOL :)
I placed 8th with at least 7,980 jobs.

I had 8321 jobs when I went to bed (about 5 or 6 hours before event ended) and ended up in fifth place - was running 20 Seq-Ms with only New York, London and Tehran open. Definitely taking it easy for the Vancouver event!
