I hacked in some bux. The game didn't pick up my cloud save after I restored my iPod so I had to start over. Even with huge amounts of bux I still haven't got back to the level I was on before the reset.
I put mine on the longest journey route for the achievement. Nome - Juneau - LA - Mexico - Caracas - Recife - Monrovia - Logas - Cairo - Karachi - Bangkok - Singapore - Katherine - Sydney - Wllington Blimp is fully upgraded fuel: profit is 6966 coins and 16 buxs with travel time of 10 hrs and 31 mins. I will decommission the smaller airports when completed. It just made it harder to fill my largest planes.
I'm on the same boat (plane). #1 until yesterday and looks like im gonna finish #2. I will take a break after this event.
I think i have done pretty well in this event. Made it to the top 100 for the first time after downloading Pocket Planes. Even got the blimp via mystery parts. Cant wait for the next global event. BLIMPS AWAY!
I have the 1,000 Total Flights achievement (Millennial Flight) but not the 250 Total Flights achievement (Jet Lag). Figure that one out.
The closest I got was #2 on the second day, and have been sitting between 6th to 9th the rest of the time. Lots of hard workers on this event..!
One thing I noticed at the end of previous events is jobs done in the last few minutes don't seem to count. When I got the prize and summary of how many jobs I did after completion, I noticed it was the same number I had maybe 20-30 minutes before the event ended and I did deliver several in that last half hour. Tim: Is it possible to have the leaderboards do a final sync of how many events were completed at the end of the event?
Awesome! I think I need a break after the London event too. I'm up to 5984 jobs for a #11 ranking. Only 7 minutes left ... not gonna catch up with #10 who has 6061 jobs ..
I never looked at it closely but always assumed that anything still "in flight" to the destination up to the event close would still count whenever they landed ... since they took off before the event ended. Guess it's the landing time that counts?
Top 100 is great considering the total number of people participating in the event. I'm getting burned out on the London event, I think I'll take it easy on the next one and aim for Top 200.

This can happen, your device only sends updates to the server every couple minutes and the server cuts off addition right when the event ends. This can also be increased if the time on your device is different than the server. When you get your reward you should see your final rank in the popup.
With 6 minutes to go in the event, I saw the leaderboard update to show me in 8th with 7980 jobs done. I delivered 3 more planes (I can't remember which ones) but there are at least another dozen more jobs done before the event ended. I'll come back and let you know what the summary says when the prize shows up.

Prize? Hmm, I joined #TOUCHARCADE, and completed around 220 jobs for the London Games, but I haven't received my blimp prize yet? Did I not understand the prizes correctly? I did get two mystery (blimp) parts but I wasn't awared a whole blimp craft yet. Thx! Grendelmon
